First visit to Sundown was last night, and I am adding this to "bars I want to revisit." Great, open space with high ceilings near the bar. A long bar with high-back chairs and a long table nearby makes for a great happy hour environment. Our bartender, Ben, was funny, fairly attententive (excepting busier times when bartenders were harder to... More

Attending a recent performance at the Granada Theater, several of us decided to go right next door to the Sundown. Was totally blown away at the menu of craft beers and great food choices. The organic food and non-GMO meats were very nice touch. Vegetarians, vegans and regular carnivores (like me) could find several choices on the menu, which makes... More

The Sundown at the Granada has payed attention to details wanting their customers to be relaxed, entertained and given something different. A cool meets esthetic vibe with emphasis on creative menu and fantastic selection of craft beer, food prepared with the purest of ingredients incl. organic, locally-grown, no GMOs and a sumptuous selection of different foods, incl. vegan. Wine selection... More

Recently went there and reserved outdoor seating for over 45+ people. The staff was very accommodating, food was really good, overall atmosphere was perfect. Would recommend. Also has rooftop seating to watch your favorite football game. Sunday brunch is recommended.

I have been to the Granda Theatre numerous times over the years to see shows, but have never visited their sister location next door the Sundown. We met up with some friends just to hang on Lower Greenville, and not worry about a show. We sat outside on the patio this past weekend, and it was awesome. Well decorated, and... More

I was skeptical about eating outdoors in Dallas in September, but the combination of fans and misters made it surprisingly comfortable on the patio. The food was great! We tried the Hammered Goat and Chisholm Trail flatbreads as appetizers and I had the stuffed avocados; a trio of delicious avocado mixed with (in my case) black beans, chicken, and Italian... More

I called right at 4pm, which is when they open, got the answering machine so I left a message. I was calling to make sure they weren't too busy for a Monday since we were traveling from afar and it was our wedding anniversary along with having our 19.5 mos old daughter. Basic questions for comfort. I never got a... More

Ate here before going to a concert at The Granada. I had a flatbread & my boyfriend had the brisket wrap. Both were delicious. The sweet potato fries are a must! Seemed to be an older crowd here & a little expensive (but worth it). We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
