Amazing!

Not a fan of Dallas at all but if you have to go, HIllstone should be a must stop. The crowd can get a little snobby nut the food is fantastic. Some of the best I have had. Try the Ahi and you won't be disappointed. One of the more impressive things that happened to us while there is the... read more

Dallas quality service matched with Dallas quality food! It's a win for date night! It's a local joint off the beaten path so you'll have to look for it. Valet parking with a quaint patio.

Very appropriate lunch sizes. We were able to be seated in an area that was relatively quiet and were able to have a normal conversation. The food was very good. Service was excellent. I need to try it for an evening.

The wait was extremely long, it was over 1 1/2 hours. The chefs made fries and offered us complimentary samples. We found ourselves having to ask the hostess where we were on the list and it seemed time continued to be added. We pleasantly discovered that Chicago style spinach dip made up for the wait.😄 we also had the famous... More

Really good restaurant. You better be really hungry when going because you won't be able to stop eating, from appetizers, entrees and drinks. And you better leave some room for dessert. We started with the smoked salmon and the grilled artichokes. Amazing flavors!!! Then I ordered the roasted prime rib, WOW!!! Really big piece of meat full of flavor accompanied... More

This might not be the place for you on the weekend. It has a wait to be seated, even w/ reservations. It is extremely noisy and does not accommodate conservation. We had a booth and could barely hear one another. The large bar area was full of drink patrons. If there was a partition between the bar and the dining... More

In Dallas meeting with clients, had time for dinner before flight back to the greatest city in Texas, Houston. We passed by Hillstone earlier in the day and elected to try this restaurant. Decor a lot like "Houston's" in my hometown, and I believe the same group runs Hillstone. Our dinner was excellent. I had the salmon dish with couscous,... More

I drove 3 ladies to Sun. lunch last week at this restaurant. Because Hillstone does not take lunch reservations, we were told our wait would be 25 mins. I asked the hostess to please pass on to management that there are three churches close by and all let out at 12n Sun., so PLEASE begin to accept lunch reservations for... More

Arrived about 10 minutes early for a 7:15 reservation on a Thursday night. I entered the restaurant to check in and it was noisy to the point I chose to step back outside to wait on our table. My colleague and I were seated ~30 minutes later. The food and service were as you would expect but not exceptional. Not... More

This was formerly Houston's part of the chain in many cities across the U.S. Although the name has changed, the place is essentially the same as before. This is one of those restaurants in Dallas that is hugely popular with the set that is NOT especially discriminating when it comes to dining out. I always want to love a meal... More
