Service was the best! Food was perfect! Get fried and smoked chicken. Best green beans since mom's. Easy to get to. Dallastown staple. Don't leave without a visit

You have two choices of chicken fried and smoked. They then bring several side dishes served family style. If you want some great southern cooking this is the place to go. Whenever I visit Dallas this is one of my must go places to eat. I want on a Saturday night the wait was about 45 minutes but well worth... More

The chicken and sides are very good and you will not go away hungry. This is really a restaurant that is good for a large group or family. The kids seem to enjoy the atmosphere more than the food. Overall good meal for a group

Even though the don't have menus everyone orders the fried chicken. It was good and the kids loved the biscuits. A plus is that they have diet Dr Pepper! The only thing I wish is that you could substitute pieces of chicken. We wanted 2 breasts but could only get 1 unless we wanted to place another whole order of... More

Babe's doesn't have any menus. There are 5 main entrees to choose from and then they bring several side dishes that are served family style. Portions were very large and side dishes were basically all you can eat. The salad had a delicious honey vinegarette. I've never had creamed corn like this before either. Remember to put honey on your... More

It has a very cozy feel. Large tables with family dinning style. The chicken is great, and all the sides you can eat. The biscuits are to die for. Did I mention the honey. Great staff plus great food. Number 1 in my book.

My family and I rode Dart and stopped in Carrrollton to see the area. It is small. We decided to eat at Babes and must say it was not expected. The restaurant has two sides and is very large. Staff was awesome. There are only 5 meat entrees on the menu and the decor was hilarious. You have to see... More

Great fried chicken, french fries, bread and cream gravy, all southern style. Place your order and get ready for a feast! Located in Synder Plaza near SMU.

My son and I went to Babes with a friend from Dallas, and it was everything we needed and more. The atmosphere, friendly service and southern hospitality was second to none. We especially loved the family style of eating with everyone choosing an entree and salad and sides coming along to share with everyone, it was terrific. The best dish... More

Love their chicken and biscuits. Next time I go, I am going to try their chicken fried steak. I couldn't stop eating.
