One of the ten best in the country

We've eaten all over the world and this is one of the top ten. The chef, Andrew Bell takes simple ingredients and turns them into something unique and special. We had reservations for 9pm on Sunday night... arrived 15 min early and were told to place our orders quickly. Their deviled eggs were just average, but the beet salad was counterpointed with grapefruit (didn't care much for the alfalfa sprouts). The scallops were underrated. Told them to remove the poached egg, but came with the plate anyway. Definitely worth... More

Stopped in to DISH Sunday evening before a play and there were only 2 other tables that were filled. When we left a little after 7:00 p.m., there were still only 3-4 tables filled. The place is very nice and well-decorated with chandeliers, screens, white table cloths, etc. but you can hear the crickets chirping! Our specialty drinks were very... More

Ugh. Only once in my life have I had a similar experience. Back in the 90s, I was challenged to find anything worth eating at one of Steven Pyles' restaurants. I had to ask the waiter if there was ANYTHING not built around black beans and corn. The answer was, "No, but we can make you a plain lettuce salad."... More

Went for the Sunday brunch/drag show at 2:30. The chicken and waffles were delicious and great drink specials- the food was good and service great. However, music was super loud and the drag show was a let down- mainly one MC monopolized the mike along with frat house/girls gone wild type antics and a bunch of foul jokes that weren't... More

Visited with two girls I was in town for a conference with - this was a great way to end the trip. We were looking for a more upscale dinner before we went out to a nearby bar. One girl ordered the scallops and LOVED them, another ordered the burger and thought it was great too. I ordered the half... More

Tried this place on Cedar Springs at the suggestion of a local, and we were immediately enthralled with the menu and atmosphere. I would have given it five stars, but our waiter did not provide the service this place deserves to give its customers. We shared charred shishito peppers and calamari, and I had the French Farmhouse salad with arugula... More

We were in Dallas for a Trade Show at the Dallas Market. My assignment each year is to find a place for fine dining. Dish had been recommended, and we were excited to get a reservation. My aim is for excellent food and service as well as a place to go over the day's finds plus just some visiting in... More

Tuna ceviche with watternelon chunks and jalapeño. spicy Lamb meatballs. Have to try the Salmon with a very peticular flavor. Small wine lisr but have something for every teast. Energetic ambiance, wossip type, but no space for romantic conversation
