A Nice Surprise in Terminal "A"

The location is in a construction zone near gate 24, and it's easy to miss the entry which is DOWN an escalator. However, the food is gr8 Cajun, although a bit pricy. I had a dozen fried oysters with Cajun slaw (instead of fries) for $18.99 and a glass of house wine was $11. The food was... read more

When she answered she wanted to try Pappadeaux for her birthday dinner it was a 'WOW' response. Because we had to drive 2 hours to get there, but we booked a Spa Day there in Dallas also and it worked out great. The food was excellent, and the service was even better.

This was my 1st connection after leaving NOLA and I still hadn't gotten my fill of the cuisine. I had a bowl of gumbo and a shrimp Po boy that were better than I had in New Orleans. I loved all of my meals in New Orleans ( except Copeland's at the Airport ), so this is saying something. The... More

Our waitress was Mae, and she was absolutly fantastic. My friends wife (Kim) has some health issues, and though Mae catered to all of us at a top notch level, she went out of her way to make sure everything was right for Kim. I was trully impressed by this young lady. Plus the food was outstanding!

THis is always good for a trip when in Dallas. Casual and Friendly. A touch of Creole and has amazing flavors in all of the selections. THe Best Frog's legs I've had. They have Alligator for a dare meal but is not spectacular. Try the Crab Claw poppers (I like mine un breaded) and the oyster on the half shell... More

Can't beat this airport location for one of the best dining in Tx. Great friendly service and absolutely yummy food. Located in Terminal A near Gate 24. Take the elevator one level down to be transported to a New Orleans style restaurant and immediately greeted by a friendly hostess. Do yourself a favor and start off with a cocktail.... You'll... This continues to be my favorite place to go in Dallas. I had the tuna stead cooked to perfection and the sauce was ideal. My friend had the salmon - another winner. I have never had a bad experience here and recommend it highly if you like good food. The wait staff knows the menu and can help pick a... More

We first came across Pappadeaux in the Houston airport but our last few trips sadly did not take us back there. Found out that there was one in the Dallas airport so on our way home from Mexico we chose a 4 hour layover instead of a1.5 one so we could have the crawfish platter. Seriously the best fried crawfish,... More

First the food is excellent with endless menu choices. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Corey served me and was the quintessential textbook example of customer service excellence. My late lunch was served quickly and was so full of flavor. Definitely a great choice of in Terminal A.

We came here in January 2013 and had wonderful seafood salads. We had always wondered if we were just lucky so when we had another stopover in Dallas airport last week we sought out Pappadeaux to eat there again. This time we wanted fillet steaks but they had sold out so they obligingly divided a 14oz ribeye and its jacket... More
