Can't beat this airport location for one of the best dining in Tx. Great friendly service and absolutely yummy food. Located in Terminal A near Gate 24. Take the elevator one level down to be transported to a New Orleans style restaurant and immediately greeted by a friendly hostess. Do yourself a favor and start off with a cocktail.... You'll... This continues to be my favorite place to go in Dallas. I had the tuna stead cooked to perfection and the sauce was ideal. My friend had the salmon - another winner. I have never had a bad experience here and recommend it highly if you like good food. The wait staff knows the menu and can help pick a... More

We first came across Pappadeaux in the Houston airport but our last few trips sadly did not take us back there. Found out that there was one in the Dallas airport so on our way home from Mexico we chose a 4 hour layover instead of a1.5 one so we could have the crawfish platter. Seriously the best fried crawfish,... More

First the food is excellent with endless menu choices. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. Corey served me and was the quintessential textbook example of customer service excellence. My late lunch was served quickly and was so full of flavor. Definitely a great choice of in Terminal A.

We came here in January 2013 and had wonderful seafood salads. We had always wondered if we were just lucky so when we had another stopover in Dallas airport last week we sought out Pappadeaux to eat there again. This time we wanted fillet steaks but they had sold out so they obligingly divided a 14oz ribeye and its jacket... More

My wife and I were traveling back from Florida and had time for lunch at the DFW airport. As a frequent flyer I stop by often for a salad. My favorite is the Seafood Cobb salad. The setting is out of the hustle and bustle of the airport and the supposedly in the area where the underground trains use to... More

I was absolutely thrilled to be able to have time to enjoy a wonderful dinner here on a Monday evening in March 2014 (3 Mar 2014) when my AA connecting flight was delayed three times. As so often happens nowadays when more and more flights are routed through huge hub airports, my final flight of the day was having severe... More

My husband and I love seafood and this restaurant is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. The food is great and moderately priced, the service is always good, and the atmosphere is just great. We just took my daughter and son-in-law there for the first time as they just moved to Dallas and they loved it too! The oysters are... More

The place was buzzing on a week night at 6:45pm. The food choices were abundant and the portion size beyond huge. Food was above average. Service was solid even though there wasn't a seat to be had.

The gumbo soup for $8.99 was too watery and needed a bit more seafood. The Crispy Atlantic Salmon lacked flavor ( needed salt and something else. I am not a chef so I don't know what is missing). It was $30.99. My mom had fried catfish and shrimp and she questioned whether the small fish was really catfish. I had... More
