This place has some of the best seafood in all of Dallas in my opinion. The best options are to see what are in season and go with that for dinner.

My first visit and enjoyed it very much. The shrimp cocktail was delicious as was our fish entrees. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The red beans and rice was a joke. They must have come right out of a can. That was my only disappointment of the evening. For desert, we had the bread pudding and it was... More

Happened in on a day that Fish and Chips were the special. They were excellent and the cole slaw that accompanied it was delicious. I like the fish tacos and gumbo but was glad I stepped out of the comfort zone and ordered something different.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch this weekend. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. She had the shrimp salad with lump crab and I had the swordfish with okra creole and coleslaw. Her salad was great same with my swordfish, coleslaw nothing special. It costs about $25-$30 per person with free valet parking. Worth the money good food.

I love walking along the Seattle fishmarket. The smells of the fish attest to their freshness. You get the same whiff when you enter this restaurant. The taste of the fish lives up to the smell. From the outside this small fishmarket and luncheonette style restaurant attached doesn't look like much. But if you want good fish and are willing... More

I am picky about my fish and Rex is simply the best in the DFW area. Simple, but very cozy. Attentive and helpful wait staff. There were 4 of us and everyone ordered something different, but we were all raving about our fish. I had the sea bass, expertly prepared. Only complaint was the lack of champagne (full bottle) from... More

This was something of a pot luck choice. What luck!!!! The restaurant is simple, service like wise but the sea food out of this world. Would definitely go back.

This is a casual restaurant with a small town feel, and phenomenal fish! The ahi tuna tower is a wonderful mix of ahi, crab and lobster with cucumber and mango. My husband and I love this type of appetizer, and this is our favorite ahi tower in Dallas. You won't be disappointed. The fish is always good, and you can... More

I dined at Rex on Saturday, 11/2. I returned on Monday, 10/4. On both occasions the food from the kitchen was very good; including a fried "trio" of clams, oysters, and calamari. On our 2nd visit I opted for steamed clams in a traditional garlic broth. They were real "steamers,", the kind that you get in the Northeast, but not... More
