Excellent for Brunch

The Bar B Que is excellent here. Weekend brunch is very good with unusual twists on classic dishes such as eggs Benedict. Cheese grits are not to be missed. You will not be disappointed.

I was quite surprised by the prices on the menu at Smoke. Is this barbecue, I wondered? Well, yes and no: I found it to be some pretentious version of smoked meats, eagerly sought out by modern day yuppies and hipsters who need to be seen in a trendy restaurant in an "up and coming" neighborhood. I expected to love... More

Everything tasted great. Not a huge menu, but really well thought-out items. Their hand crafted, infused alcohols were fantastic. The margarita made with their infused tequila was the best I have ever had!

I really, really want to love this place as it is so close to my home, but alas... I find it average. Or maybe it is not average and I just do not understand the whole "coffee-cured" aspect. The pork chop was really good, but the collard greens were cloyingly sweet and brought the entire dish back down to average.... More

Wow-I live 3 blocks from Smoke. Guess I forgot why we never go there! They play 007 reruns while the Mavericks are playing. Won't change due to management policy! The Gumbo appetizer taste like- well not gumbo. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was burned and not shrimp cocktail. I travel the world and have no idea why you would eat here.... More

This was my first visit to the original "Smoke," just South of downtown Dallas. Funky building with a fun, unique ambiance. Reclaimed pallets adorn the ceiling and walls and act as a foundation for artwork and light fixtures. This isn't the stereotypical BBQ joint that is dark and woody and smells like smoke in the inside. It's clean and bright... More

We arrived with high expectations after hearing we needed to go. We stopped by on our way home from the airport. We arrived in time for brunch. We were surprised by the high prices. The menu is geared toward foodies with eclectic taste. My daughter ordered the goat meat item. She enjoyed it. She had a side of potato salad.... More

My wife and I came here on a Saturday morning, and I may like this place now more for brunch than for dinner. Good fresh coffee, and my wife was quite happy with her mimosa. My egg-white omelet packed a lot of flavor - mushrooms, pulled pork, and a heavy dose of wonderful goat cheese. We've been here a couple... More

Service was fair. Took over an hour to get our food. Food was way over cooked. BBQ fries were tough as a boot. I found the food quality to be very low quality and way overpriced. Would not go back!

Excellent spot for drinks and tons of meat. Outstanding pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sides. Sauces are excellent. Bar service a little slow, but otherwise great.
