I did not review this restaurant when I visited my daughter last year. During that visit, we had a wonderful breakfast so I definitely wanted to go back again. During my last visit in May, we went to the other location. My breakfast was just okay and the service was poor. We had to ask our server several times for... More

Never had a dish here I didn't love - breakfast, lunch, or dinner - but I particularly love their Smoked Gouda Fondue. I prefer the atmosphere of this location (Uptown/Oak Lawn), but it can get pretty busy. I've always been too stuffed to try anything from the bakery case, but it all looks amazing.

It was my first time at Bread Winners Cafe and it was Amazing! The restaurant was full, but they seated people quickly, we waited about 10 minutes max. The staff was kind, attentive and fast, always makes a meal taste better. I had the Chicken and Waffles and it did not disappoint. The chicken had the right amount of crisp... More

A small but nice menu. They serve late which is nice. The place seemed to be divided into 2 businesses: the bakery/sidewalk cafe restaurant and then a New Orleans style place with a lively bar on the roof. Fun either way. In the Uptown area which appeared to be a nightlife destination.

Well this is the best place to go on morning brunch. It's really aweosme ambient. They have sitting indoor and outdoor. food is great and staff is aweosme. Just be prepare to stand in line ( waiting list) if you are going in morning. And parking is bit problem here. It's hard to find street parking there.

Went with a large group (~20) and the staff were wonderful. Our waitress was wonderful and extremely patient. Food was all delicious. A huge variety of options for every palate. Good beer on tap and a large list of mixed drinks. Daily specials for both drinks and dinners

Whenever anyone tells me that they are visiting Dallas, Breadwinners is always on my list of things they cannot miss. The breakfast and brunch are very moderately priced for very decent portions, and the meals themselves are divine. If you love to brunch, this place is a must. The service is excellent, as is the coffee, and each table is... More

Went to Bread Winners off McKinney St in Dallas. Very busy place for brunch on a Saturday. Even then wait for less than 5 minutes. Menu is quite large as are the portions. Two people can easily share a meal. They bring bring you complementary banana bread as soon as you sit down. The bread was excellent. It is a... More

My wife and I heard that this was a good place to eat breakfast from some friends in Dallas. They were right! First of all, once you're seated they bring 5 or 6 complementary samples of their pastries. Their menu seems to have it all. All sorts of waffles, french toast, pancakes, eggs, meat, etc. Our order was, to us,... More

I ate hear on a bachelorette party weekend with some friends and everyone was blown away by the food (and the portions!). Most of us had mimosas and the were delicious. I had french toast and loved it. I also tasted my friends cinnamon roll french toast and it was amazing too. I would go hear again and recommend it... More
