Decent BBQ

I was at DFW leaving from a week-long business trip in Texas. So, all week long I was able to enjoy Tex-Mex, burger joints, and steakhouses galore. Since I was still in Texas and did not know when I would be returning, I figured I would try out Dickey's at DFW. The server strongly recommended... read more

Pork or beef sandwiches were made in front of you with side choices you filled to your size. Drink was in a nice take home cup. Ice cream was free and you helped yourself. I will return!

I was very disappointed to see the paltry beef brisket portion on the sandwich. Not much meat, looking under a quarter pound as advertised. They offered more meat slicing off what they said was another quarter pound (hardly a few slivers), doubling the price of my sandwich. What a joke. It wasn't that great either. Nothing notable about this dry... More

This is among the worst food I have ever had at an airport. My standards are not high, but good grief. Flavorless macaroni and cheese floating in orange water. BBQ sauce that tasted like ketchup. Sausage cooked to the consistency of cardboard. Pulled pork that was ok. Untoasted Texas toast that was essentially white bread with oil on it. All... More

As I waited to head to Houston I arrived here just as they were starting to close up shop for the night. The staff was very accommodating and friendly despite my late arrival. Based on their recommendation I opted for the smoked sausage, turkey, brisket, green beans and corn. All of the meats were above average and not overly smoked.... More

I had lunch there this morning. $11.00 for 5 pork ribs, Mac and cheese, and green beans. I don't usually review fast food, but I thought this was pretty good. Worth a try if you're hanging out at DFW.

I had only sides here, so I normally wouldn’t even put this in writing, but the experience I had made it worth mentioning. This Dickie’s Barbecue Pit is located in the DFW airport terminal A, near gate 18. Due to bad weather in Dallas, the airport had been closed for about an hour earlier, and the surrounding terminal scene was... More

DFW Terminal location: Service was satisfactory > quality of food (Pulled Pork Sandwich) was disappointing.

Server actually made me simply leave the restaurant. After his sarcastic rude comments I said 'Well that's great service.' So I walked out. No idea if the food was bad. Just assumed it is based his this guy's horrible attitude.

Just left there after throwing my BBQ plate in the trash. Greasiest BBQ I have ever had. This includes the green beans. In edible.
