Went there for a business meal. Set menu and they did a good job. Food was very good. Service was great. My group had a great evening. The ribs were very popular among those not from the south.

We got seated at a small table in a corner and were forgotten about for about 10 minutes. That did allow us time to review the menu. They had a fish special of scallops, but this is a Texas themed restaurant, so I decided against it and ordered the venison frito pie. We started with the trio of fries and... More

Popped in for a late night desert. This establishment in down in the Bishop Arts district surrounded by all types of interesting restaurants. This is on the south side of town by Methodist hospital. We had the apple crisp and the make your own smores. They were fantastic. The service was quick and the food was tasty.

I had the chicken fried steak which is not a chicken fried steak. Its a beef tenderloin medallion breaded and fried. The breading wouldn't stick and the flavors were bland. It was very tender but not very flavorful. The portions were also small for the price. The wife had the Ribs and she did enjoy them and had no complaints.... More

Went to this restaurant with a group of Business associates. We ordered the fries as an appetizer and they came with two dipping sauces. The fries were okay but not impressive to me. What was impressive is the popcorn and that they give you on the tables that has a fantastic seasoning and is absolutely addictive. Everyone enjoyed their meal... More

Celebrated my birthday dinner with friends at Tillman's after a recommendation from a friend. It was a great choice. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. We enjoyed every bite of the delicious popcorn that was quickly brought to our table. We enjoyed every bite of the trio of fries appetizer. When eating out, I usually... More

This is in an up and coming district south of downtown but worth the drive. Not a big menu but a creative one. Nice selection of wine and local beer. Didn't care for the appetizers. Main courses were very good as was the heirloom tomato salad. Liked the venison Fritos Pie, pork chop, chicken fried steak. Table side s'mores are... More
