upscale comfort food

Rustic raw wood walls, crystal chandeliers, and truffle popcorn. What?? It all works though: warm interior, comfort food with an upscale twist, craft cocktails. It's a winning combination!

Was taken here last night by some friends. Mid week thought we better book but no need no trouble getting a table. Loved the woodpile bar and total atmosphere of this Roadhouse. Food is all homemade and delicious. Service very attentive (probably due to low numbers) had the T Burger medium well, didn't want it to stop!!!!! Finished with the... More

We got right in on a busy Saturday morning but waited over an hour and a half for our food. The manager was finally flagged down and we were told they were working short in the kitchen. The food was great once we got it and the manager did comp the meal (but did make us pay for our drinks).... More

Sunday brunch. Ordered tomatoes watermelon appetizer drizzled with balsamic dressing. It was tasty but neither tomatoes or watermelon were flavorful as both were out of season. I ordered an omelette with avocado and fried potatoes. I asked them to go light on the salt so there appeared to be no seasoning on the omelette or potatoes. A little Tabasco took... More

Eccentric décor, with a rustic atmosphere...the food presentation was beautifully arranged and the taste is there to match! The staff went over and above for us, great experience all around and check out the bathroom in this place! Pretty Cool!

Totally enjoyed this place with great friends. Ordered chips and peppers to start. I thought they were excellent. Our entrees: lamb, shrimp and grits, buffaloaf and flank steak. I thought the flank streak with mushrooms were was great. My husband's buffaloaf was great but the mashed potatoes were excellent. I tasted the shrimp and grits and the mac and cheese.... More

We had visited Tillman's before for dinner, but this time tried their Sunday brunch menu. We started with a pitcher of mimosas, which was cold and delicious. We had Eggs Benny (pulled pork and a poached egg on Texas toast with poblano cream sauce!) breakfast tacos and chicken on a biscuit. All were delicious. Service was quick, as the restaurant... More

Went here to see if it was a possibility for brunch. We didn't get past coffee because the service and menu were not attractive!

The location is great, right in the midst of the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. The food was very good. Loved everything I ate. The service was poor, but I think it was an anonmyly. One order for our table was forgotten and we all were finished eating beef that entree arrived. There were a few glitches like this which... More
