I was on a business trip and was told to try this place. It was restaurant week. $35 a person for 3 course meal. It was explained to me as southern home cook food. This was southern food with an upscale twist. Each table is given popcorn as a starter. I had the chick fried steak which was a battered... More

This place had the potential to be great. Their goat cheese tater tots are sublime, and their decor is unique, but we had to wait over an hour for our entrees which came out cold. If they can figure out their kitchen this would become a must for weekend brunches

Overpriced and a little pretentious. Dallas has so many good restaurants I was a little shocked so many folks seem to like this place. I probably won't return.

With a group of 24, we were seated together without much difficulty as tables were moved quickly. Smaller place but we were early-good thing as place was full when we left. Group had appetizers, meals from menu, amazing delicious desserts. Seemed that everyone was amazed with the prompt and professional service from start to finish. No problems. Filet was cooked... Bench-style seating, lots of unusual decor, and ceiling to floor drapes...with the waitstaff in pearl snap shirts! This place is really fun & unusual, with a wide variety of food choices. For starters, there is an amazing popcorn (yes, popcorn) with truffle butter and black pepper as a "freebie"...it's unusual and delicious! The Man Friend and I split the roasted... More

We stopped into Tillman's for one of their Blood Orange Margaritas and a Mohito. They brought out a bowl of popcorn that was the best I have ever had! Seems that they combine butter and truffle oil and pepper. We did not have time to have dinner, so settled for appetizers. Food was good and the service was great. The... More

I cannot say how excellent their food is! I live in Seattle and when I travel to Dallas I always come here! The tator tots with truffle oil are to die for! The chicken fried steak--- so tender and scrumptious! And make sure you finish with the smores. Such a fun experience every time!

We enjoyed dinner at Tillman's. Menu was very diverse. Four of us ate, enjoying chicken fried steak, venison chili, burger, and short rib. The truffle tater tots were a delicious appetizer, and the homemade s'mores a yummy dessert. Drinks were good. Only downside was price- dinner for four, with drinks, was $200 including the tip.

I have to admit, we hadn't visited the Bishop Arts District in years till this past week. Wow, what a change and turnaround for this neighborhood. While in Bishop, we took the opportunity to have supper at Tillman's Roadhouse. We LOVED IT. The service was fantastic. The food was outstanding. We had to stop ourselves from making a meal of... We arrived cause everything else in the area was packed. That should if told us something right off the bat. We sat at the bar because there was a 30 minute wait for a table as 7 were open. We sat down bartender was nice, ordered brisket and biscuits, tater tots and steak and eggs. He forgot to order the... More
