Huge portions of very good food are served here. I wanted unreal brisket, as this was my first Texas BBQ experience. Two slices of my brisket were incredible, but the other two were dry. The pulled pork was actually terrific. I also had sausage, but it just sort of blended in with everything else after all of the meat I... More

If you want excellent favor and quality Texas BBQ while in Dallas, go to Mike Anderson, it rivals the BBQ you can find in Austin and Lockhart BBQ places. Brisket is excellent and great service.

You are bound to hear about this place if you work in the close vicinity of the restaurant. For approximately $16.00, I ordered a dinner plate. The portion is huge and you probably won't finish the meal in one sitting. I had brisket, pork ribs and turkey for meat. For side item, I had garlic mashed potatoes and fried Okra.... More

The line is most definitely worth the wait. If you go during the peak hours of lunch time through the week (11a-1p) you will have about a 10-15 minute wait. The line moves pretty quickly though and the staff is very friendly. The bbq baked potato is monstrous and oh so delicious! I couldn't have had 2nds even it I... More

While at a training session at 35/Market Center Blvd a couple of weeks ago, I decided to search TA to see if a good Q place might be located near by. Sure enough, I found Mike Anderson's and went there. The line was LONG so I figured it would be worth the wait. Wrong. I got my standard "starter" plate... More

Very good brisket and I loved the beef hot link sausage. Brisket was really moist but didn't have the kind of bark I prefer. Thus wouldn't stop me from returning. The pinto beans with jalapeño, rice and brisket was excellent as was the banana pudding for desert. Highly recommend if you're in the area to stop in for lunch. Don't... More

We stopped here in the middle of some freezing rain and it wasn't too crowded. The food came quickly and was just what we expected. Great BBQ and sides!! We were not disappointed and recommend stopping by if you are in the DFW area.

This is amazing food! Not a big fan of buffet style eating, but the food was well worth it! Only two choices of Barbeque sauce but two choices (house and jalapeño) was all that was necessary! Just, wow!

This is the best, real TX, BBQ that Dallas has to offer. Unpretentious cafeteria-style serving line, tacky decor, and delicious meat & sides; exactly like you'd want in a BBQ joint! Ribs, brisket, turkey, sausage, ham...it's all good. Be sure and try to the bleu cheese & brisket stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos (Texas strawberries). Also try to cheesy corn bake... More
