Wonderful atmosphere, great food

Rise no. 1 is a wonderful restaurant, serving mostly outstanding souffles. The menu changes seasonally and does offer a few salads and sandwiches. Mushroom, crab and the seasonal pumpkin or cranberry shuffles are my favorites. Great homey atmosphere.

This is a very unique restaurant, as it mostly serves soufflés. They are fantastic and a perfect light lunch or dinner. They also have a nice wine list that is reasonably priced.

Nine of us celebrated our son's graduation here. No one in the party had been to Rise, and all of us were impressed. We entered throuh a heavy wooden door, and sat at a table made of connected school desks. Three racks contained scrabble tiles spelling out "Bienvenue (our family name) Party." We had a straight on view of the... More

The souffles are all fantastic. I especially like the mushroom. Of they have the banana foster one for dessert special, it's the best on the menu. The marshmallow soup is also very good and different. Be careful that the staff doesn't rush you if you're on a fun date. Sometimes they want to take your entire order at the beggining... More

Very nice decor restaurant on corner of plaza with intricate furnishings. Feel really warm inside. The menu is limited and although $$ on TripAdvisor should be $$$$. Ordered a delightful special crabmeat souffle which was $22. The staff are super friendly and informative about menu. I opted to sit where I could watch the cooks (6 or 7 of them)... More

Many friends have told us to try this lovely restaurant and this weekend we went. We loved it! It's a soufflé menu with a few other items. The French Onion soup was fantastic! Would go back again just for this! I had a mushroom soufflé with truffle oil and it was amazing! We shared a few dessert soufflés and our... More

It's hard to find really delicious gluten-free offerings in fine-dining, but my gluten-free salmon soufflé was every bit as delicious as my husband's rustic sausage soufflé. In addition, we had some of the best French onion soup we've had outside of France. Service was excellent and the choices in addition to the various soufflés will have us returning to try... More

I popped in for lunch in between meetings and treated myself to a chicken soufflé-marinated chicken and tomatillo sauce! Yum! I would definitely go back again!

If you like soufflés then probably rise is the place to dine! I, on the other hand, is not too fond of soufflés and therefore did not really enjoy the experience. However, the restaurant has a unique décor which I admired. I enjoyed the company of my friends for a lunch break more than the food served. In addition, I... More

Located in a high-end outdoor mall, rise (no capital) is a French dining oasis that specializes in individual soufflés. Stepping into rise, you are transported into a French farmhouse. Started with marshmallow soup (try it, it's delicious) followed by ham and Gruyere souffle. I was in heaven. Excellent service and friendly staff. Bought the cookbook.
