The wait staff was attentive. Among us we had 3 Souffles (4 counting desert) and the tastes were all distinctive and tasty. You need to order the desert souffle with the main course so it comes in time (Bananas Foster desert souffle was really good). The Cauliflower and Gruyere was the mildest souffle, it was good. The Maryland blue crab... More

Recently while visiting Dallas a friend suggested we eat here. It was a great choice for friends to visit at. The service was great and the food was perfect. Had salad, crab soufflé and the bananas foster soufflé for desert. The space is wonderfully decorated. I would eat here again. Food might be thought to be a little pricey but... More

Get the marshmallow soup (it's not marshmallows, really), the crab soufflé and the bananas foster soufflé for dessert. A reliable source said this is her favorite restaurant in all of Dallas. Another friend mentioned it unsolicited when I mentioned we were in Dallas recently.

Loved this restaurant! Went for lunch w/ a friend and had a bevy of adorable waiters that were attentive but not overbearing. They gave good suggestions and were very friendly. We split the marshmallow soup and it was divine, we each had a soufflé and they were perfect! I recommend!

Arrived early, sat on the terrace in the sunshine. Mimosas to drink, soufflés were excellent. Waitress was helpful and friendly, will visit again soon.

We heard about this place from a friend of a friend who reportedly saw "George and Laura" (Bush) eating there. Knowing nothing more than that, we went. So first surprise, it's a soufflé restaurant. There are also some soups and salads on the menu, but it's really a SOUFFLE restaurant. Souffle main courses, soufflé desserts. Hence the name. Since then... More

My first visit to Rise no. 1 was fabulous ... from the wine flight to the cheese cart to a delicious blue crab soufflé and finally a yummy grand marnier dessert soufflé. And to top it off, we had fun kitchen gallery seats! Can't wait to go back!

We ate here on Sunday morning. We were seated immediately, even without reservations. The atmosphere is fun, French and inviting! Our waiter, Will B. was great! I will ask for him again. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The food was delicious! You must try the marshmallow soup! The crab souffle was heavenly. The chocolate souffle... More

I want a Rise no.1 in Manhattan. I hope that people in Dallas realize how lucky they are. 1. If possible, sit overlooking the kitchen. Was great fun to watch everything going on. 2. I had the Truffle Infuse Mushroom Souffles. I could not believe it was under 300 calories. One of the most subtle and delicious dishes I have... More

Rise has a great ambiance...cozy bistro with antique decor. The marshmallow soup may indeed be the best thing on the menu...tomato soup with puffs of goat cheese. I ordered one of the specials...the blue crab soufflé. It contains the perfect combination of crab, cheese and seasonings. It is rich so I was glad I was sharing and combined it with... More
