In my opinion, for the money and the unique atmosphere, Rise No. 1 is the best restaurant in Dallas. Everything in the restaurant has a little story to tell from the guillotine inspired bread cutters to the little quote papers handed out by the hostess when you leave. The whole restaurant has a very relaxing and charming atmosphere, complete with... More

The food really is very good here - especially the souffles. My friend and I shared a salad, a cauliflower souffle and a bread pudding souffle - both perfect. If I were rating this restaurant on the food experience alone, I'd put it at a "4." However, they have no bottled sparkling water and sell small glasses of flat, warm... More

My husband and I really love this place... it's like a cozy French restaurant with eclectic décor and wonderful, warm soufflés! We eat out often with our children, but I wouldn't consider this to be a very kid-friendly place. It is, however, lovely, romantic, and makes me want to go back to Paris!

The server I had was kind and she was very helpful. She recommended the crab soufflé which was delicious. My favorite was the marshmallow soup, the tomato soup was cooked wonderfully and the cheese complimented it really well.

What a wonderful dining experience. When you enter the dining room you are transported to a back street in Paris. There are many great choices for entree soufflés. But save room for a dessert soufflé. Expensive but very enjoyable meal.

We had a delightful French dinner at Rise No.1 on Lovers Lane in Dallas. We chose to sit on the patio and the atmosphere--music, seating, view were all lovely. Our waiter, Jorge, was excellent and helped us choose our dinner items. I had the 'marshmellow' soup, which was just wonderful. There were many great choices for entree soufles, so I... More

Very loud atmosphere and dark inside seating area...patio lighter but just as noisy. Quaint atmosphere. Terrific food. Pricey.

Wow what wonderful experience. The entire atmosphere felt like we were back in France. Their specialty is Soufles; and they are wonderful. It takes a while to make one but it's worth the wait. Try the Escargot Soufle or the Crab Soufle for a real treat.

Our daughter recommended this place for our anniversary meal, and we are so happy we went! My husband started with the marshmallow soup (little pieces of cheese in a tomato based soup) while I had the Rise salad. We shared the crab soufflé followed by the chocolate dessert soufflé. All of the food was wonderful, and the waitstaff was helpful... More
