Stopped in 1/18/15 for some cookies and cake on the way back from Dallas to Houston. The bakery was quite busy with a nice lunch crowd. However, my party was there for the cookies and other goodies. I chose a couple of pieces of pound cake, one chocolate with choc. icing, and the other was citrus pound cake with a... More

Collin Street Bakery has been known for years for its fruitcake, but if you're in the area, make sure you stop by and take advantage of the rest of their bakery items. The fudge pecan pie is worth the calories, and the pecan balls are absolutely heavenly! And the staff at the original store make it an enjoyable experience.

Love the recent remodel but lines to pay are still confusing. Orange angel food cake is delicious along as always the fruitcake.

Every time I go to Dallas I always pass this place up so this time I decided to stop. The place is very clean and you get a nice vibe from them. We decided to get some lunch there. The sandwiches were good. We sampled their famous fruit cakes and they had lots available, The bakery side had a large... More

This is a home town bakery gone international. They now gave two stores in Corsicana and some in several other cities. If you like fruit cakes, theirs are great. My favorite are the cookies. So many choices. Pecan nuggets are the best. They tast like 99% crushed pecans.

Was on my way to Galveston and was hungry and I thought a sandwich sounded great, went in and it was busy. Ordered my Sandwich, the person taking the order did not offer me chips or a drink and when I asked them to hold the veggies they looked at me like I was crazy. Had to go back and... More

After seeing the billboards for the Collins Street Bakery for chicken salad I decided to stop in. Th place is beautiful and a warm welcome was given. Samples of baked goods were there for tasting. I looked over at the deli after getting a latte and inquired about the chicken salad and what made it so special. After given the... More

This is a second location for the old standby that is still operating in downtown Corsicana. Besides their famous fruit cakes, they serve a variety of lunch entrees for the traveler along I-45 who needs a rest stop. We were especially pleased with the soups we ordered along with our salads and sandwiches. Of course, you will have to succumb... More

I love the bakery/coffee shop...favorite cookies are the fudge tarts and the pink maraschino cherry cookies. Their soups are delicious and their sandwiches can be made to order for those who are picky like me, which is always a plus.

My family and I recently had breakfast at the original location in downtown Corsicana. Wonderful scones, pastries, and donuts. We will be back.
