Sandwiches are nice if you get them made fresh. The restrooms are always spotless and nice stop on a road trip. They have no ice for drinks, selling only cold bottles or cans.

I often travel between Dallas and Houston, always stop in here for a little snack or lunch. The staff is very very friendly, today when I stopped unbeknownst to me they added extra cookies that I was taking back to my family. They are a great group of people, the restaurant is always clean, the chicken salad sandwiches are awesome.... More

Sells world famous fruit-cake, but not the dense kind. This is like bread with fruit. Other amazing pastries. Want a taste of something, just ask...then have something else, etc. Had gotten a coupon book at a Texas welcome center. Got a Pecan Bread for $1 ! and a dozen cookies (usually 60 cents each) for $2. They have so many... More

Traveling from Galveston to Dallas we stopped at Collin Street Bakery just off Interstate 45 in Corsicana. There was a good lunch crowd but the service was fast. We had club sandwiches, chips and soft drinks. The environment was very relaxes the facility is bright and fresh. Staff was especially friendly. Best of all the food was great.

Stopped in 1/18/15 for some cookies and cake on the way back from Dallas to Houston. The bakery was quite busy with a nice lunch crowd. However, my party was there for the cookies and other goodies. I chose a couple of pieces of pound cake, one chocolate with choc. icing, and the other was citrus pound cake with a... More

Collin Street Bakery has been known for years for its fruitcake, but if you're in the area, make sure you stop by and take advantage of the rest of their bakery items. The fudge pecan pie is worth the calories, and the pecan balls are absolutely heavenly! And the staff at the original store make it an enjoyable experience.

Love the recent remodel but lines to pay are still confusing. Orange angel food cake is delicious along as always the fruitcake.

Every time I go to Dallas I always pass this place up so this time I decided to stop. The place is very clean and you get a nice vibe from them. We decided to get some lunch there. The sandwiches were good. We sampled their famous fruit cakes and they had lots available, The bakery side had a large... More

This is a home town bakery gone international. They now gave two stores in Corsicana and some in several other cities. If you like fruit cakes, theirs are great. My favorite are the cookies. So many choices. Pecan nuggets are the best. They tast like 99% crushed pecans.
