We arrived for out 6:30 reservation and were first shown to a back room with one table and four chairs. It was a storage room, apparently because it had tables and chairs stacked in the corners. We asked for and were taken to the main dining area. From 6:30 until we walked out out at 7:30 we were served a... More

My wife and I just moved from New York to Texas 2 months ago and found this restaurant on our 4th of July excursion to the Conroe Lake area. And are we glad we did!! The food was simply superb, as was the extremely pleasant and attentive wait staff. The atmosphere could not have been any better either. Just a... More

This is a great dining experience, with upscale decor, excellent service, a full bar, and great food. Besides the great Italian food, they have great steaks, wonderful desserts. On weekends, Teddy is there with his mellow voice to serenade diners or visitors to the bar with the blues, soul, and other easy listenin genre. This restaurant went through a tough... More

Villa Italia (Conroe) The food here is surprisingly good, considering that it's a quaint little house near downtown Conroe and there's hardly ever anyone here for dinner. We come on Saturdays at prime time and there might be one or two other tables occupied. We've been the only ones here several times - at 7:30pm on a Saturday! Of course,... More

The food is awesome and the owners are great. The location is a little out of the way but worth the find. Very good service.

6 of us had lunch there today and it was awesome....the food is outstanding. Best Red Snapper I've ever had, full of flavor. We will definitely go back.

I was going to be in the area for the weekend so I searched for a non-chain restuarant for dinner with me and my fiance. I was excited to see the other reviews for this place as it seemed right up my alley and I have a soft spot for Italian food. We arrived and I was very pleased with... More

Mike P...I'm a faithful, long time customer of Villa Italia. I loved it when Norma was running it, and it's every bit as good now that Jose has taken over in her absence. I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in the country, and I would rank Villa Italia at the top of a very tasty list. To even... More

Here is a restaurant with a lot of history. It's as quaint as can be with a quiet dining feel. Good food, clean environment--the owner tries hard with the food and wine. I will be back. Only thing, it's hard to find because the building is an old house and doesn't stand out. Sort of "tucked away"

Worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Had to beg for service to get any at all. Several groups left in disgust because no one bothered to even come and take their drink order. Food is below average - think pasta swimming in a bland sauce. Wine list consists of low quality box wine. Do yourself a favor... More
