Love the fired shrimp. The only thing I have a quibble with is sometimes the host/hostess gets a bit off track. (As in assigning waitstaff to my table.)

Babin's is part of the Landry's restaurant empire. As expected, they deliver a reliable and consistent seafood experience, although it is not particularly creative or unique. Fresh fish offerings on the chalkboard reflect seasonal catch with the chance to select prep technique and toppings. Entrees come with choice of two sides, ranging from a very good Greek salad to Creole... More

Although we had gone in search of boiled crawfish, the wife and I ended up enjoying boiled shrimp and the half-and-half (fried crawfish and crawfish etouffee). The fried crawfish was seasoned, very lightly battered and pan fried. The result was delicate, flavorful and delicious and bore no resemblance to the deep fried wad of breading that is usually found. It... More

We had an excellent server. Very friendly. Even introduced himself and shock our hands. They have very good food here. Have eaten here before when in The Woodlands.

This was the office favorite before we retired. Just visited here with friends today after being away for over a year and it is still a great place for fresh fish. The menu is varied, lots of great spicy offerings, fish choices come blackened/broiled/fried, service was fast and friendly. My fish was excellent with a wonderful topping (pontchartrain). Hubby’s fish... More

Went here for lunch. Had heard good things about it. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the étouffée. It seemed like a somewhat small portion for the cost, but it was very good and nicely spicy. Others had the trout, they said it was very good. The service was good, and our waitress had no problem filling some... More

I read all of the reviews and even was recommended by a family member. Every person is entitled to their own taste, but I felt the fried seafood here was bland. Even the appetizers we had were just average. I had the stuffed flounder, which was probably just above average. The rest of my family just picked around their plates.... More

This may have been the best seafood dinner I have ever eaten! I ate the shrimp and grits - unbelievably delicious! Everyone in my group enjoyed their dinner. The service was fast and courteous. I can't wait to go back for round two of shrimp and grits!

We got in without a wait on Saturday night and really not sure why not more crowded, unless so many choices in nearby Woodlands. Not usually a fan of the Landry's chain restaurants but really enjoyed this meal. Party of 8 and most everyone loved what they had. Grouper was spicy and green beans were excellent. Husband's flounder was prepared... More

My family and I frequently dine at the Landry's family of restaurants. Babin's is our favorite of the chain. Out of the several Babin's locations in the Houston area, the Woodland's is home to the best. Why we love this Babin's: the service is top notch, it is always very clean, and everyone is so unusually polite! A true Southern... More
