My family enjoy dining here. Benjamin always makes us feel like we are the only diners even when busy. Great burgers and pork chops.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the ONLY place to eat in Comfort. Very family-friendly and good home-made food. Friday and Saturday evenings they offer enchiladas and have some really good specials on Sundays. Their Chicken Fried Steak is the best I've ever had. Burgers and salads are also awesome. And finally, dessert is a must!

Went for lunch Sunday after church. Place was not that busy and I see why. Food was not good and the service was terrible. Will not go back. From Kerrville Tx

This restaurant is listed in our TX guide to Landmark Cafes. If you can arrive during their serving hours, it is worth the trip. Quaint place with awesome food (we had lunch buffet) where you'll see mostly locals.

This restaurant had the perfect small town feeling!! My husband and I visited Comfort for the weekend and saw this place. The waiter made us laugh the whole entire time (Benjamin) he may seem odd to some people, if you don't have a sense of humor!!! We noticed a lot of locals came here because he knew them and greeted... More

We stayed in Comfort for 3 days and explored the Hill Country area. Supper time we pulled into Cypress Creek Restaurant and so glad we did. We both had chicken fried steak and it was good solid food. Afterward, we realized Saturday night was enchilada night so we kinda blew it on that one! Sunday afternoon, we went back for... More

The first time we came to Comfort, we ate here because of the Texas Monthly recommendation that it was a top small town cafe and had great chicken fried steak. As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is non-existent. The place was nearly empty except for a group of about 10 people having a dinner meeting. Strangely, we were given a... More

It was absolutely terrible. My daughter had the vege plate. The baked potatoes were instant and cold. The corn was straight from a can. My gravy was lumpy. Most of the food was unfit to eat. Plus, the waiter was odd. He kept looking over my daughters' shoulder to read her text messages on her phone. The decor was also... More

The best restaurant for home-style cooking with a few twists. We have been going to Cypress Creek for years and have never had a bad meal. I can't recall ever even being slightly dissatisfied. Sergio's home-cooking is an art. Always flavorful, always freshly prepared, always consistent. The week day lunch buffet is perfect - catfish on Fridays, and homemade enchiladas... More
