Consistently good

Just had lunch at Los Cabos. Food was great as usual. Homemade chips/salsa with caso were complicate as they should be. Service was exceptional. Its a place to go for a quick meal or a leisurely one. The frozen yogurt cone is a good end to a good meal.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on our way from Houston to San Antonio. Not the best Mexican I've had but also not the worst. Not too many choices during this stretch of road so this is a decent place if you're hungry and want to grab a quick lunch.

Okay so it's not Original Ninfa's or Rosarios but it still hits the spot if you are driving between Houston and San Antonio and the service was great. I tried the El Chino this time which I thought was very good. In fact, I was going to cut it in half and take a portion with me, but it was... More

Whether you're hungry for Tex-Mex, seafood with a Mexican flare or a full rack of babyback ribs you will go away satisfied. Nice ambiance, great service and clean restrooms. There is also a full bar serving your favorite brew or a made to order Margarita. And there is free ice cream to top it off.

We ate here for one dinner on our way to Round Top for the Antique Fair. We could see the parking lot from our hotel next door and there seemed to be a lot of locals coming in and out so we expected great food. Menu was normal for Mexican food, wait staff was prompt and courteous. While the food... More

A good place to stop along I-10 for Tex Mex food with friendly staff and a wide variety menu. They also offer free ice cream cone as you exit the building. The food is good and the place is clean. Lots of local eat here daily.

We met some friends for dinner. I was surprised that the food was pretty good. Service was a bit slow but they were very busy on a Friday night. I had a shrimp dish and the kids had items from the kid menu. We are not from the area and were passing through . If we head that way again... More

A big and very popular place, crammed with people on a Friday night. I was alone and sat at the bar. Had a fancy Margarita, not worth the price, and some corn tortillas, small guacamole ( that was a very large portion) and a bowl of Caldo de Res. The soup was packed with the standard veggies and chunk of... More

Driving from Houston to Austin I never considered stopping for dinner, but with a late start we had to take a break, and I am glad we did. This is great TexMex food, the parking lot was full but there were plenty of tables. The only reason this is not 5 stars is that the staff was "distracted" (brought fajitas,... More
