A Friendly Place

We love to go there. Their Chicken Parmeasan is very good. Portions are HUGE. Save room for pie. Kids love this diner. This is a wonderful landmark. Sometimes the lines are long because it's popular with college kids and parents as well as families.

What happened to this place? It got famous and went downhill. That's not to say that some of their food isn't still good. Is that a double negative? My grandma won't read this so I won't worry about it. The service has gotten worse too. Maybe they need Gordon Ramsey to come in.

The once charming diner has seen better days, it continues to decay and fall apart. The wait staff is dismal, slow and unresponsive. Our daughter ate there over a week ago and said it wasn't that good. We came any way 3/18/15 and sorry we did. Their food lacks flavor but not the grease. The chicken fried steak has way... More

We took our 3 kids there Friday night. Our ONLY complaint was they were out of the bread pudding! The food was so good! My daughters PB & J was so good we should have ordered one to go for our selves! The Philly Cheese Steak had my husband raving all the way home. My salad was big & yummy,... More

Heard so much about this place and was do disappointed!! Went for breakfast on Sunday morning they had a 30 minute wait and since we were pressed for time decided to eat in the bar w/ limited menu, which was fine. The breakfast was horrible!! Not sure why there is a wait??? Everything is premade scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, gravy... More

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 10. No wait for sitting at counter. Neat old train car. Had short stack pancake which could have fed 3! French toast was very good. Others had biscuits and gravy and make your own omelet. It was all very good and very filling. No need to eat lunch today. Service was good.... More

Okay ! My college son kept telling me how great/ how cool this restaurant was! I drove 2 hours to have Valentine's lunch with him! Loved the look of this restaurant! SO cool. But then the waitress stuck us under the air conditioner in an ugly corner ! There was only one other table with guests! We were stuck in... More

We loved the train wreck fries and burgers. Nice little stop on our road trip. We went because it was on Diners Drive ins and Dives.

Had a rare Sunday morning off from our church and went to "worship" at Hullabaloo. So. Good. Amazing eggs, best sausage gravy since grand-mom's, and we split ONE pancake...and couldn't event finish that. Terrific!

Had the best Philly Cheese steak in a long time!. We have had breakfast thee as well and it was huge to say the least. They do have a famous 12 Egg Omelette which I refrained from even attempting to try :)
