Fun and Tasty

We didn't want to wait the 30 minutes to eat in the diner, so we had lunch in the bar instead. I had the chicken salad.. salad Andy sons had burgers. We all really enjoyed our food and how fun the atmosphere was. There was a singer out on the patio with the parrot cage. It's a real neat place... read more

My husband and I visited the Hullabaloo Diner on a Friday evening recently. We loved the diner atmosphere, and the service was friendly and competent. Sadly the food was really only average. Every Texan loves a good chicken fried steak, but my husband's steak had a very doughy crust and the gravy tasted of too much flour. I ordered a... More

Went there because we were told it is a quaint Texas diner. In reality it's a cramped diner car that appears to be falling down that serves greasy food at inflated prices. Went there once......ONCE!!!

A wedding reception brought us to the Hullabaloo Diner. The food was good, service was friendly and attentive, and their craft beers were outstanding, The Nut Brown Amber is a must have. Live music in a casual, rustic setting made for a great evening with family and friends.

What happened to this place? It got famous and went downhill. That's not to say that some of their food isn't still good. Is that a double negative? My grandma won't read this so I won't worry about it. The service has gotten worse too. Maybe they need Gordon Ramsey to come in.

The once charming diner has seen better days, it continues to decay and fall apart. The wait staff is dismal, slow and unresponsive. Our daughter ate there over a week ago and said it wasn't that good. We came any way 3/18/15 and sorry we did. Their food lacks flavor but not the grease. The chicken fried steak has way... More

We love to go there. Their Chicken Parmeasan is very good. Portions are HUGE. Save room for pie. Kids love this diner. This is a wonderful landmark. Sometimes the lines are long because it's popular with college kids and parents as well as families.

We took our 3 kids there Friday night. Our ONLY complaint was they were out of the bread pudding! The food was so good! My daughters PB & J was so good we should have ordered one to go for our selves! The Philly Cheese Steak had my husband raving all the way home. My salad was big & yummy,... More

Heard so much about this place and was do disappointed!! Went for breakfast on Sunday morning they had a 30 minute wait and since we were pressed for time decided to eat in the bar w/ limited menu, which was fine. The breakfast was horrible!! Not sure why there is a wait??? Everything is premade scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, gravy... More

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 10. No wait for sitting at counter. Neat old train car. Had short stack pancake which could have fed 3! French toast was very good. Others had biscuits and gravy and make your own omelet. It was all very good and very filling. No need to eat lunch today. Service was good.... More
