My grandson is attending college at Texas A&M. I travel to College Station at least once a month to take him to lunch or dinner for a nice sit down meal. We went here and I must admit it was perfect. We shared the Crab Cakes for a appetizer. We both order the Filet Mignon and had the Pecorino Creamed... More

My husband and I enjoyed a romantic steak dinner at The Republic but the steak tenderness and flavor was just average. You can get better quality steak at Outback Steakhouse for a fraction of the cost.

My husband and I tried this as the menu looked good. I had the Corsa salad (pancetta was too thick and almost could not chew and the teaspoon of chevre was well, small) lobster bisque (really bland). My husband had the pork chop - which was awesome and huge. It really did melt in the mouth. The vegetable side was... More

The food is fabulous although it is pricey. You can expect to drop an easy $150 a couple and that does not include drinks.

Great experience- from bar to waiters and food. High quality all the way around. The steaks were wonderful & loved the Bloody Mary specialty drink! Not to be missed if you like Bloody Marys. Our waiter was very friendly & provided great service but did not hover. One of the best restaurants in College Station.

Top quality cuts of meat cooked to your exact specifications. An amazing array of top shelf liquor, and a very respectable wine list. The atmosphere is casual chic- and the wait staff very convivial. In my opinion- the best place to eat in Bryan/College Station. Also, it is conveniently located across from the Hilton on University Avenue. Fantastic place!

I almost always eat at the bar. Good drinks and service, plus you can see everyone coming and going. Chicken fried oysters beyond excellent. I do wish they had individual portions for the sides
