Based on the reviews saying this was a good local, family owned restaurant, we tried this place while visiting College Station. It was not crowded at dinner on a Saturday night, so we did not have to wait long for a table. The drink list is very limited and it all seems to come out of a bottle - even... More

The entrees were very good and the staff was very nice. My wife got the taramisu for dessert and we agreed it was the best we had ever had

Our favorite local family owned Italian Restaurant. We started with their amazing Calamari. Lightly fried, crisp and tender. Dad had lasagna, I had Gnochi di Mare, and my wife had Lobster Ravioli. As always, everything was wonderful. We should know, our first experience here was 27 years ago!

As a fan of local restaurants, I enjoy visiting them instead of chain restaurants when I travel. This place is a cute little Italian restaurant with very good food. I had the lobster raviolis and they were very good. I will come back again

As an Italian wife in a large Italian family, I surely no what great food taste like. The food at Cenare's is amazing. I asked for my dish to be spicy and it was amazing. I have never had such good food. The staff is friendly and are top of their tables, even on a busy night. To be greeted... More

This is my second time in Cenare, and definitely the last. I went once about a year ago during my once a month visit to College Station, and immediately disliked their cold and uncomfortable atmosphere. I had hopes that the food would improve the ambiance, but it worsened it. My food was cold and tasteless. I decided to give it... More

The quality of their fresh food, the attentive service, and (my personal bias) clean washrooms , all come together in the small A & M college town of College Station, Texas and is quite a surprise, quite a find. Especially if you're accustom to dining in major cities. The decor is simple and no surprise for a restaurant in a... More

Well, this restaurant appeared nowhere on any decent restaurant review sites that we looked at (which should have clued us in), but it came "highly recommended" from a college-age desk clerk at our hotel, so we went. We should have known better being seasoned travelers in our 50's. But, truly - the food was awful. The food prices, which range... More

What a gem this place is! We ate dinner there on a Saturday night in the fall, and since A&M was playing an away game, we had no trouble getting a table. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with selecting wine and entrees, and we took his expert advice. If you like lobster, be sure to order the lobster... More

Cenare's is always very good and sometimes truly great. We eat there every time we are in the area. On our last visit, they had a special limited menu as it was graduation weekend for A&M. I couldn't order my usual favorite and had to try something else. I got the tortellini and was so glad I did as it... More
