It's about the tradition...

I don't think Dixie Chicken is going to wow anybody with tidy tables, superior service, great selection, fancy decor, or clean bathrooms. In fact, it doesn't have any of those. But, what it does have is tradition. The beer selection can be a little weak and the food is on par with flimsy fast... read more

First I have to say we came to eat here on Aggieland Saturday so there were tons of people everywhere. The wait was long like one hour long to get our food. The food is average nothing spectacular but good. The atemosphere is great you can have a great time with family friends. Drinks were cheap. The restrooms were beyond... More

This place has huge history, amazing engraved tables, inexpensive beer and a fun atmosphere. Reccomended by a friend who went to school here years ago, but still very fun.an original! Not to be missed, not all packaged up at smooth, but rough around the edges and fun.

Great place to visit for lunch with the family. We were in the area as we visited the George Bush Presedential library. The cheese burger and chicken burgers were good value and we also liked the fries with cheese. The seasonal beer was great. They do not serve sweet iced tea. We stayed to play pool on the many pool tables.... More

The past few times I've eaten here it has not been very good and has made me sick. It is a College Station must see but I don't know why so many people like it.

First place I went in college station! Great dive place complete with rattlesnake. Really good burgers, great frito pie, good selection of beer, and really, really friendly staff. Karen was great! And in good weather, have a seat on the back porch and people watch. Absolutely awesome!

Best Honk Tonk EVER. All the things you love about Honky Tonks but with a high average SAT score. Love the nerds doing differential equations with pool chalk on the table felt. Musical genre is timeless classics that never go out of style like Jerry Jeff Walker, etc.

Try their chicken strip dinner served with texas toast, country gravy and fries coupled with a shiner for a true Texas experience.

This bar is an icon here in College Station. They have a food menu. The burgers are great and the beer is cold. Bring your dominoes. :)

Fun people watching & friendly game-day atmosphere. While I don't recommend the chicken, best cheeseburger in town! Good drinks & surprisingly fast service even though it was packed.
