Loved the decor, service and food. A very solid breakfast option in College Station. They have art for sale on the walls too -- perhaps done by A&M students?

Came here with two friends who live in College Station. They'd raved about the place, so we came for a Sunday lunch. I left understanding why they rave about it. The restaurant is decorated in a unique, quirky, hodge-podge of "rooms" with quite a bit of character, and there was a good-sized crowd of mostly college students studying or chatting... More

The college students love this place! Great eat in for breakfast. Great drive through for special coffees and pastries.

The crepes are delicious and I love the frozen chai. The place is a popular study place during the school semester but it is nice and quiet between breaks and during the summer. Also, when you are standing at the counter to order, look up in the mirror.

We have been coming here for over 14 years. We used to walk here from our house in College Station. Now we stop in any chance we get when we are visiting the area. My only disappointment in 14 years is that they ran out of donuts on Mothers Day 2014. I liked it more when the donut shop was... More

What a wonderful locally owned coffee/cafe/study/conversation/restful shop. The atmosphere is EXACTLY what you expect in a college coffee shop. The joe is great and the crepes are nice and light. This was suggested by a local businessman as a place to meet for coffee and discuss the price of 'sand' and boy was I surprised. This is the kind of... More

I love Starbucks, but will pass it by to go to Sweet Eugene's while in College Station! It is always busy and crowded with students, but the coffee makes it worth while. They have a wide array of pastries, quiches, and doughnuts available as well. There is a wooden deck outside that is great when the weather is pleasant. My... More

Coffee is very good and the restaurant is explicitly a coffee grunge kind of approach, which mostly works (though I'd personally prefer a little less grunge....). One of the things I really like is the new (to me) offerings of crepes both savory and sweet varieties. We've had several and they're terrific all made to order when you order.

This is a place I came all the time in college...& loved it. Yes, the atmosphere is unique and cozy (if you can snag a comfy couch or chair), and visiting again with a college friend, the place is very much the same...except for the staff. My friend and I waited in line with four other customers for longer than... More

Understand up front that in a university town, Sweet Eugene's ("Sweet's," as many call it) is going to be full of students, almost any time you go there. But the ambiance and the space at Sweet's is big enough to handle that, plus give you room to reflect, work, veg, or do whatever else you do over coffee (or chai,... More
