Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.

Good Place for a Friendly Visit

A friend from out of town was visiting the Bryan-College Station area and suggested we get together for drinks, and I suggested Abuelo's, where we had dined previously. We sat in the bar area and my Malbec was very good, my friend's beer was cold, and the firecracker shrimp were delicious. The... read more

This place is not mexican food to me, more of a tex-mex epicurian style. They have great food though, and the quality is always great. Their variety of salsa are all delicious too.

Near my hotel so I took the night auditors advice and tried it out. It's a large place, looks very nice and clean. Greeted by many smiling faces. The menu is pretty extensive. They did have sweet tea. Started off with queso, which was delicious, but for the price, it was very small portioned. Chips were good. Three salsa's brought... More

We tried Abuelo's around January of 2015 for the first time, and have been back many times since. We have always had very good service, the food is plentiful, very tasty, and always served piping HOT. The queso is a favorite of ours also. Recently had a Chili Relleno plate, one stuffed with cheese and the other with beef. Great! They... More

My mom, sister & I ate here for an early dinner. The food was very good!! We had a Guacamole sour cream dip that was out of this world good, I literally could have eaten that as a meal, chicken croquets with a side of the Pappas that were delicious as well. Along with a pitcher of swirls! We needed... More

We took my son here (my wife and I) on July 4th. We had a nice time, and the food was good as always. This is honestly the only place I go to for Mexican food in the area. I've had an issue or two over the years (we go frequently). But, overall, the place is great, and we will... More

Although this is a chain, the food is superior. Unlike the usual tired Mexican beans, rice, and so on, this place offers a number of tasty and unique dishes.
