Veritas is not only the best restaurant in Bryan-College Station, it compares well with fine restaurants in many other places. Chef Tai brings a Asian (primarily Japanese) influence to the menu though the offerings are eclectic. The sea bass is one of his signature dishes & is so tender & tasty, it nearly melts in your mouth. Unlike many Texas... More

This was the second time in this retaurant, and it confirmed the impressions I got in the first time. Good ambiance, very good live music, superb food. The service and the wine list were a must as well. Nothing to own to the best restaurants in the Country.

Had dinner here for the first time and it was fairly good. My daughter loved the oysters. The calamari was chewy, which I do not care for. Kids had filets, which they said were pretty good. They said they had had better. I had a hawaiian fish dish which was so so. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. I had... More

Every bite is magical. Each dish is prepared with care and delicious attention to detail. Our favorite meal is the Omakase: the chef's six course tasting menu - and the wine pairing. What a treat to be presented with food prepared just for you - and the wine pairings allow you to "go" places you might never have travelled. A... More

I was part of a group of 30 or so who had dinner in the private dining room recently. The fresh green salad and the calamari appetizers were very nice, but the gulf coast crab cakes were quite spectacular. Everything was very artfully presented. The servers were helpful, attentive, and prompt. It was a great evening.

Vibe, food, drink...it's all there. Our server was outstanding too - personable, knew the SCOTCH MENU (?!?!?). If ever in CLL, we WILL be back.

My husband and I had dinner here on New Year's Eve. The 4 course prix fixe menu provided a variety of choices that would please anyone. We chose to also have wine pairings with each course. What a value!! The ahi tuna appetizer was impressive with avocado and grapefruit served with a Pinot noir. The main course I chose was... More

In particular, loved the "just grilled" special. Had it three different times, each time with a different fish of the day, and every time it was a perfect light meal. And everyone I was with really enjoyed their meals. The desserts are also excellent. Quite unexpected quality in this area!

The appetizer and Chilean sea bass was excellent. The steaks were large . The wait staff is attentive . We enjoyed this tucked away restaurant.

Late dinner here on a Sunday night. Lovely salad - very fresh greens and light salad dressings. Requested filet mignon medium rare but had to send back because it was quite undercooked. Grilled fish was nice. Ordered side of mushroom risotto - very heavy dish that I would not recommend unless the chef eases up on the salt shaker. Food... More
