Veritas is one of the best restaurants in College Station. The menu is interesting, the service is top notch, the wine list is extensive, and the food is amazing. I have never had a bad meal here. If you are eating solo, try to sit at the chef's table - very fun to watch the action in the kitchen. Definitely... More

My husband and I have been to Veritas several times and we have had an excellent meal every time. We like to order the omakase with wine pairing, sit back and relax while the servers wait on us hand and foot. Chef Tai has truly created a one of a kind dining experience in the area. Thanks for wonderful food... More

I visit College Station several times per year, and always eat here, although you might want to make a reservation if it looks as if it might be a busy night. The food is freshly prepared to order, and is of excellent quality. A truly different experience, with the freshest produce, and food preparation. The menu is always interesting. The... More

This is our go to place. Excellent food and best wait staff in town. We prefer the casual atmosphere of eating at the bar and interacting with bartenders and other regulars. Must try Miso Seabass... haven't had anything to compare in our travels.

Especially for an independent restaurant in a small metropolitan area, Veritas is excellent. It would hold its own in any major city. The food is imaginative, nicely prepared, and plentiful without being over-the-top. The wine list is a plus, and I've always gotten reliable recommendations from the servers for wine specials. The golden beet salad is a favorite, and there's... More

It's been a while since I've had a real fine dinner but this would be one of my favorites if it wasn't 1100 miles from my home base. It's still nice casual but just very nice food, service and atmosphere. During my brief stay I enjoyed the duck, lamb and filet. All were excellent but if you have an aversion... More

Had dinner with wife after reading reviews on TA at this small and cozy restaurant. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient throughout the meal. Food was very well presented with some unique twist on salads and main course. Good chioce of wines and beers. Food was excellent and my wife's loved the desert she ordered. Hope to return soon. Highly... More

Great food, especially the seafood and desserts. Great wine list, very classy place without being above you. We turned up in shorts and things and felt underdressed but weren't made to feel that way. Great service. Highly recommended. Headed back tonight for a second time.

This is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever dined at for special occasions. My mom and I dined here for lunch May 2014 and the food was excellent and service as well. This is a fun delicious special place to dine with incredible food. The cream Brule' is amazing and so is the grown up big kids... More
