I have been to Brian's several times, but I thought this time I would take a few minutes to submit a review. The bar-b-que is consistently delicious and tender. As well, I like the cole slaw and the sauce. We had sliced brisket and chicken and they were both excellent. Only two issues that were not of huge concern, but... More

Yes the food is good but there portions are very small for what you pay. I bought two plates, both were 2 meat plates 1 for me and 1 for my husband, and if you put them together it would have been enough for 1 of us. This was not the first time we were there and the portions given... More

My host from Dow Chemical told me that Brian's was the best BBQ restaurant in America. I have to say, I agree. I had brisket and ribs, with pinto beans and cole slaw. They were all excellent, but especially the barbecue, which is smoked. Tender, fall of the bone, but properly cooked. Excellent flavor and a good balance of smoke.... More

For those that live in Houston, it's a bit of a drive, but worth the trip for great flavored BBQ and sauce. Rudy's BBQ is a runner-up and Goode Company is on the list, but Brian's BBQ is one of my favorites unless I'm in the hill country...

I ate at Brian's today for the first time in 10 years. It was wonderful. Meat flavors were exceptional and the sides were fine. Brian's is not fancy but is very comfortable in a traditional BBQ kind of way. The ribs were outstanding and the sausage was the best. If you are in Clute or Lake Jackson, give it a... More

The bbq at Brian's is really good. I like it because you can go right in and get your food quickly. The bbq sandwiches are my favorite. They are especially good. I also like the bbq ribs. Sometimes you need to get their early or the ribs will be gone.

The food is tasty, not too greasy. Ambiance is . typical bbq .. not my favorite ambiance. I like to order a whole chicken and take it home.

Brian's has consistently good barbecue staples just as you would find in almost any other similarly themed restaurants with one difference--their barbecue is tender, flavorful and really well done no matter which entree you select. Get there early if you're a baked potato fan because when they run out, they run out. This is a very good Texas style barbecue... More
