Always enjoy our visits to J&J. The BBQ is very good and the service is great. Good neighborhood BBQ place!

Stopped for early lunch and the place was buzzing! We decided on take out because it was pretty noisy. While we were waiting, we saw a lot of yummy looking food come out of the kitchen. We ordered brisket, Mac n cheese, cole slaw and pinto beans. We got our own onions, pickles, peppers, pico, etc. our order came out... More

We had take out from here on a Sunday evening so my review is only related to the take out experience. We walked in and ordered the 4 - 6 person family meal with sliced brisket, jalapeno sausage and regular sausage along with the green beans, mashed potatoes and pinto beans. BBQ sauce comes with the meal along with gravy... More

My husband and I went here on a Sunday for lunch. It was fairly crowded, but we got our food within a decent amount of time. I enjoyed it, but my husband ended up getting sick to his stomach. We thinking it was from the pickled jalapeños.

This restaurant is really good. I have been there every day. Those fried chickens are awesome! They also got the best burgers !

The atmosphere is not the best as you may sit with a neighbor, stand in line to order but it is very clean and efficient service. Their specialty is BBQ but we went for the burgers, absolutely fabulous and very big. The onion rings are also very good and more than enough, the same with the French fries. On Fridays... More

After nearly two weeks in Central Texas, I had tried many bbq places. This one happened to be the closest to the house we were working on, but we kept ignoring it for some reason and hadn't eaten there after a week or so. Am I glad we finally did. Out of the several places we tried, including the Salt... More

The bar-b-q was moist and very tender, melt in your mouth. The fried chicken were the smallest pieces of chicken we have ever gotten anywhere and had a not good smell to it. The chicken is fried after you order it so there is a long wait. This visit was in June 2013 and have not been back since. Would buy... More

J&Js (or "JJs," as we call it) is definitely a great local place. Their brisket is quite good - we've had them cater parties - but we love going there for breakfast. Any time of year, JJs always has good breakfast tacos. They also feature a variety of "calorie buster" plates that, frankly, we've been afraid to try! There's a... More
