We began eating there when it opened many years ago. We used to eat there at least 3 times a month. In the past two years the quality has seriously declined. The last time I ate there, the brisket sandwich and sides were not of good quality. They have changed the cold slaw and potato salad recipes or are making... More

I actually have only been here for breakfast several times and once for an early lunch. Our family loves the breakfast tacos/salsa and good ol' flap jacks for the kids. I've also tried their famous cheddar melt burger...I didn't really "get it the point" of it and will not order it again. I need to go back and try some... More

They were running a brisket and sausage special so I ordered it. I also asked for a bun to make a BBQ sandwich and was handed a huge one. To me what makes a BBQ sandwich is the smoked meat and the all important sauce. I stacked the large bun with a double layer of brisket (still leaving more on... More

Excellent smoky brisket with good flavor. Sauce is not necessary but adds to a sandwich. Good sides. BUT, the special (a party melt on Texas toast) was burned instead of cooked. Obviously the griddle was too hot and the sandwich left too long. Should never have been served that way. The lesson is to order barbecue at a barbecue joint....

No dislikes- although not crazy about the chicken. However LOVE the migas and breakfast tacos are fantastic and large. Family friendly and loved by the locals. Always busy on the weekends and at meal times so come early. Enjoy!

I can't say enough great things about JJs. It has a very down home feel to it, making you feel right at home once you walk in the doors. Everyone in my group had burgers of some sort, and everyone loved them!! I can't speak for their other foods, but their burgers are divine. The staple of any good burger... More

Always enjoy our visits to J&J. The BBQ is very good and the service is great. Good neighborhood BBQ place!

Stopped for early lunch and the place was buzzing! We decided on take out because it was pretty noisy. While we were waiting, we saw a lot of yummy looking food come out of the kitchen. We ordered brisket, Mac n cheese, cole slaw and pinto beans. We got our own onions, pickles, peppers, pico, etc. our order came out... More

We had take out from here on a Sunday evening so my review is only related to the take out experience. We walked in and ordered the 4 - 6 person family meal with sliced brisket, jalapeno sausage and regular sausage along with the green beans, mashed potatoes and pinto beans. BBQ sauce comes with the meal along with gravy... More

My husband and I went here on a Sunday for lunch. It was fairly crowded, but we got our food within a decent amount of time. I enjoyed it, but my husband ended up getting sick to his stomach. We thinking it was from the pickled jalapeños.
