Husband and I just moved to the area. Checked out TripAdvisor for a good BBQ place. (I use this app for everything) I ordered the baked potato with chopped beef. Soooo goood! Husband ordered the ribs. Loved it. Also loved the homemade cream corn! We will definitely be back! Great customer service as well. 👍

I love Smokey Mo's! The food is terrific and the people are so friendly. It is family owned and you feel like family when thee. The ribs fall off the bone and the sausage wrap is still my favorite.

Exactly what we were looking for! Delicious BBQ, friendly people, & quaint lil atmosphere! If its your first time going, be sure to tell them that it is! You will get free samples and "edge-a-macated!" We started with the NOT-YOUR-AVERAGE bbq turkey and also the 3 meat platter that comes with two sides. Absolutely yummy! The sweet tea doesn't get... Great food. Choice of lean brisket, regular or cutter choice. Also sausage, turkey, pork loin and ribs. Various side choices such as fried okra, slaw, corn on the cob, buttered potatoes or potato salad. Beans really good. This place also has burgers and desserts. Best of all for me are the chopped bakers (baked potato with chopped BBQ and trimmings)... More

I've been there for dinner and then breakfast. It wasn't horrible but wasn't great either. The BBQ is too fatty - both brisket and sausage, and the brisket is tougher than it should be. The hot BBQ sauce was tasty though. For breakfast we got a sausage breakfast taco, a brisket taco, and biscuits and gravy. The tacos were not... More

It's not Lockhart, Elgin, or Taylor BBQ, but it's also not a 45 minute drive. For convenience it's good local BBQ. It's right in there with Rudy's and Salt Lick for flavor.

Some of the side dishes are not to bad, but the BBQ? If your into BBQ fat, go for it. They are one of those lets put the brisket on the pit long enough to give it a little smoke and finish it in the oven cooks.

Stopped in here to eat before the Stars game. I must say i was impressed. Had the 3 meat platter, which i ordered the Turkey, pork ribs, and sausage. Turkey was very good, great flavor. Pork ribs were good also, but kinda dry. Sausage was the best out of the three. I chose two sides, potato salad and cole slaw,... More
