Not as good as other locations

Smokey Mo's always has good BBQ, but this location does not trim the brisket as well as some others do. The smoked turkey and the sauce are still superb though.

We had our son's groom's dinner catered for out out-of-state family and friends. ...wanted to give them the opportunity to have true Texas BBQ. What a hit! And my sister, who caters up north, left vowing to find a copycat recipe for their creamed corn. ....oh - the wedding went off without a hitch too!!

I don't know if we hit these folks on a bad day or if our tastes are just that different but our lunch was a real disappointment. One of us had the brisket sandwich and the other the pork sandwich and both were barely room temperature. That might have been understandable if we were there at an oddball time but... More

Staff was nice (counter service) and the place was clean. The chicken and beans were good - moist and flavorful, but the brisket wasn't as good as the precooked whole briskets you can buy at HEB next door and reheat at home. Brisket was dry, not flavorful enough. Admittedly, HEB has a pretty good brisket. Seating is limited, so if... More

Smokey Mo's is less expensive than some other BBQ places and is quite good. The smoked turkey is especially good, but the brisket and sausage are also excellent.

Stopped here today for lunch on our way back to Georgetown - the 6 of us each ordered from the menu board and went and got a table. Our wide selection was called and brought to table and looked and smelled great. We each tried the excellent hot sauce on our meals. My sliced sausage was very good ( I... More

Ordered a Thanksgiving turkey from Smokey Mo's this year. The process was easy, the cost was minimal, the staff is SO friendly .... and the turkey was superb. :-)

I'm a big fan of sauces and Smokey Mo's spicy sauce is some of the best I've had. I usually go for two meat plate with full flavored smoked turkey and sausage. Beans really good and potato salad average but I like to add a little BBQ sauce to it and it's really good.

With the convenience of counter ordering, the service in this restaurant is great. Ordered the 2 meat combo which I chose the pork ribs and brisket. Sides are plentiful with the potato salad being great, but the fried okra was a bit over cooked and stuck together. But the BBQ was outstanding with a nice char on the exterior on... More

Went here for dinner and had the brisket and smokey turkey with creamed corn and buttered potatoes. The meat was so juicy and tasty.. Melt in your mouth. You can order by the pound or plate and the pits have been seasoned for about 14 years so they make a tasty meat. Sampled the sausage as well and it was... More
