Very good, cheap tacos!!

Very good for fast, easy, cheap food for a family! Nothing fancy. Very good homemade tortillas too! I recommend any of their tacos! They have inside & outside seating and counter service or drive thru.

Food is always good, fresh, fast. It is budget tex-mex. Plates are huge. They do not scrimp. They have different specials each day.

I like this place! Good tamales, and just about everything else on the menu. Very good tortillas! I love it all. Not a fancy place but lots of cheap food. Will satisfy your craven for Mexican Food.

This is not a knock on this location, but I have never really understood the cult status attached to Rosa's by people from West Texas. That includes my own family members. A first time visitor will usually find as they stand in line that the menu seems like to much to choose from. I made the mistake at this location... More

It is average when put in a group that includes Taco Bell and Taco Cabana. It is NOT average when put up against "normal" Mexican Restaurants. This is fast food and the food is average. Will not be driving into this parking lot for a while.

I'd driven by Rosa's Cafe for several years before trying it on a whim. I'd previously assumed it was just another in a string of bad tex-mex joints along highway 1431. Oh, was I wrong! Yes, it's a HUGE space inside and yes, their menu is way too big -- but everything I've tried over the past several months has... More

The dinner plates are okay however you can save a lot of money by creating your a la cart order. I normally go to the drive-through, order a dozen tortillas, quart of rice and court of beans. I make tacos at home with the rice and beans and some times add cheese from home. Their salsa is a good addition... More

So Rosa's is pretty good and I used to visit the one in Odessa. The burritos are good but I enjoy the ones at their sister restaurant Taco Villa much more. Still in a pinch it is great to get decent fast food Mexican food in the Austin area. Worth a try!

Given that "Mexican Food" varies by location and who is working in the kitchen..., no negatives here, and I will not compare to my favorite back home place. Get in line. Place order. Pay and get a numbered receipt. Seat yourself. Wait for your number to appear on the easy to see screens on the walls. Pick-up yourself. The system... More
