Really good New York style pizza with fine crust and tasty toppings. The pasta dishes are love or hate, depending on what you grew up on. I find their sauces to be under seasoned , but I prefer really powerfully seasoned red gravy style Italian food in this type place.

We love this place! When you walk in and see all these beefy Italian guys behind the counter, it is as if entering a pizza place in Brooklyn or Chicago...not little ol' Cedar Hill. How can this be? The food is the real deal, though...tasty, large portions, and very Italian. Chicken pasta salad is a favorite cool summer treat, and... More

Phenomenal service, great food and exceptionally good prices too! We moved 30+ miles away and we still go back, monthly, to the nicest family owned restaurant we've been in over the past 14 yrs in the D/FW area. All the pasta dishes are wonderful, so don't be afraid to have everyone order something different and share!

Granted, I ate a simple pepperoni pizza but it was absolutely fantastic! Other members of my party ate the spaghetti, which was also great. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

This place is a MUST! Great food and great prices. I love bringing out of town visitors here. My favorite/go to is a slice of pizza, garlic knots, and dessert!

Not for the carb or gluten averse, this place has a true Italian flavor. The food is pure joy! Everything is cooked right and just delicious. I will be napping later with a full stomach filled to the very top with pure deliciousness.

I was on a quest for NY style pizza in DFW for a long time. I tried hundreds of pizzeria without any luck. Finally, I found Sam’s Pizza in Cedar Hill, a true NY style Italian restaurant. Their Pizza is truly NY style by size and the taste and made with real cheese. I already made 2 trips within a... More

A few weeks ago, my daughter and son in law took me and two daughters and all together my four grandkids to their new 'find', Sam's. Okay, I'm dubious. I love GOOD Italian food, (hint: Stauffer's lasagna is not good italian food). Okay, they had two different types of pizza. The crust is light, the cheese ooey but not overwhelming.... More

Everything on the menu here is good. That said, the pizzas are outstanding with a crispy crust that's not too thick and the perfect amount of cheese. Try the "Sam's Special," it is amazing. Also, the chicken parmigiana is excellent, and I also enjoy the eggplant parm. They have a cheesesteak, which may not be 100 percent authentic (I'm a... More

The place is usually busy but the service is friendly and quick and the food is delicious! I love the sausage pizza, thin crust - generous with cheese and toppings. My all time fave is the lasagna. It's the best all around. Love the house dressing. There are 2 TVs in the restaurant that are usually tuned into some kind... More
