Reminds me of home. Great food and service. The ceviche de tilapia was excellent, as well as the arroz con pollo

Being myself from one of the island I went there seeking Tropical fare. I was not disappointed. When I walked into the restaurant there was some great Salsa and Bachata music playing, beer was cold, and the Ropa Vieja with rice, beans, and plantains was delicious. A great out of the place located in a small strip mall in Carrolton.... More

My boyfriend was in the mood for Cuban food & he had been here while visiting Dallas before so we decided to give it a try again. It was close to closing time but there were still several people in there and a few at the bar. The place is small..nothing fancy but those are the places that you usually... More

As someone who grew up in a Cuban household in Miami I can say with confidence that you can get some great ropa vieja, maduros, yuca frita and flan from here. Also, ask for Yuly to be your server. She's very sweet, very good and she makes an incredible mojito. Her service made the experience a 5.

This is not a high end cafe but a comfort food and authentic flavor experience. The food is made when you order and can cause wait times so don't be in a hurry. But the flavors are great and not overpowering. The value is outstanding for a nice lunch break. Overall a great family style cafe with very friendly staff.

I went here on the suggestion of some friends, and it was very good. The menu was incredible, so it was really difficult to pick something! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. So, with that glowing review, why didn't it get five stars? There were a couple of draw backs, in my opinion. First, it is in a less-than-attractive... More

This is a quaint little place with some of the tastiest fish I've had in DFW. Perhaps I'm a little biased since this place introduced me to Carribean cuisine but no other place I've gone to since has matched up. The staff is also extremely polite and always seems genuinely happy to serve.

The food is incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. In fact, it's some of the most authentic Cuban food I've eaten--and I grew up in Florida. It's a great lunch place and quite intimate if you'd like to use it as a date spot. Personal favorite: Yucca frita to start, vaca frita with black beans, rice, and tostones (fried green plantains),... More

This is a gem of a find! Located in a neighborhood shopping center, this restaurant offers truly authentic Cuban cuisine. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and all is great. My favorite is the Cuban Sandwich which is served with fries. Wine and spirits are also available and at reasonable prices. Locally owned and operated, the restaurant... More
