Breakfast

We stop in here, looking for a quick breakfast bite. Definitely a place the locals go, the owner knew everyone by name and most peoples orders. Food was average, definitely not bad, but also nothing that stood out. Service was nice, price was decent.

Experience their delicious menu offerings as we did by returning each day for a different selection without a disappointment. If you love bacon, omelets, pancakes, hash browns, etc. you'll want to not miss theirs! They are now open 7 days a week from 8am to 2pm for breakfast and lunch. We bought apple and cherry turnovers on each visit for... More

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. Small place and was somewhat crowded. Eggs Benefict was absolutely delicious!!!! Best I've ever had. Eggs were perfectly poached and the Hollandais was wonderful and served with a nice thick slice of ham. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which were excellent as well. Service was good, too. I highly recommend!!

The cafe has a nice rounded breakfast menu. The Eggs Benedict are excellent. Great place for a hearty meal before you hit the road and leave the Lake behind.

This place was busy! We got there a little before 11. They were out of chicken fried steak and blintzs😰. We wound up picking our go to eggs Benedict and French toast. It was fresh and perfect for a Sunday brunch. We will have to return to try the first choice. Can't wait!

We ate lunch here before going out on the lake, and we all had the lunch special--chicken fried chicken. It was a huge portion, but it was your average ck. fry.

I visited the Canyon lake area with my husband. We wanted to stop for breakfast and my husband noticed this restaurant and we agreed to try it out. Not that it should matter but I am Hispanic and my husband is Anglo. He ordered a blintz plate with a egg side order. I ordered an omlete. My husband's blintz plate... More

This is not a fancy place, and in fact the physical appearance is somewhat in need of freshening and repair. However, this is our favorite down-home restaurant for breakfast or brunch! The food is always delicious, and the coffee always hot and freshly made. We are regulars.

We ate here for breakfast after church on Sunday. The minute we walked in the door, a waitress said shortly, "after you order, it will at least 30 minutes for your food." This kind of set things off to a negative start. There was one table available that they were clearing. Another waitress sat us there. Then we waited and... More

we had breakfast at the Old Sattlar (party of 7). We had to wait for around 15mts before being seated since they did not have many large tables. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd since it took some time before our orders were taken. We felt that the size of the plate was huge, but the actual... More
