If they're closed, then I was just served a ghostly enchilada straight from Heaven's kitchen. Everything was homemade right down to the chips and salsa. Go in the back for a mind blowing collection of cra...stuff. Frank (Eddie) can tell you where every item came from.

sadly this place is up for sale and no longer serving. It looks so neat on the outside and I wish we could have experienced it.

Eddie made us feel like we were family. Sitting outside looking at everything especially the bamboo, all while kicking back on lake time. The food was hot and worth the wait. A little pricy, but for a mom and pop stop it was well worth it! Just as good as a dinner and show! We will be back soon!

Almost missed it!! We pulled into Plooky's which turned out to be a Cajun boiling pot type place. Hubby doesn't like any kind of seafood or Cajun seasoning as we were getting ready to pull out of their parking lot I saw the sign Frank's BBQ & Mexican food sign. It's a bait shop out back and a antique museum... More

We go every summer when were at the lake. Some stuff seems a little pricey but it's so fun and a great atmosphere! Can't wait to head back this year.

I thought the "food and bait" was a funny gimmick, but nope, Eddie said you can pull up 24 hours a day and honk and he or his wife will get you bait. I assume they live out back. If you want to keep busy during your entire dining experience this place is for you. The floors, walls and ceiling... More

Something you wouldn't expect from a bait store. Generally Mexican food but has hamburgers and chicken fried steak type American dishes. Prices are high for Mexican food and it is not any better than lower priced restaurants. Décor is unusual with every kind of decoration hanging all over the walls and ceiling. Antiques and candy in what passes for a... More

Delightfully unexpected! Eddie, the owner, greeted us when we entered and entertained us while we waited for dinner, explaining many of his collectables. The food was freshly prepared, very tasty and there was lots of it. We definitely plan on returning to sample more menu items.

For those that want a quick dinner or something generic, please do not go here. This is the type of place that's just too interesting to be "normal". There are thousands of trinkets and artifacts on the walls and ceiling in this place. I've gone here multiple times and the owner has been incredibly friendly every time. I've even learned... More
