There were two Lakeview Restaurant locations, one near the Timeshares and across from Italian Garden and one closer in near the Yogi Bear Campground and the river activities. The "timeshare" version with the most reviews (this one with BBQ in title) has been closed for months due to a meth lab bust. The structure is now caving in. No matter... More

Had breakfast. Cold coffee, mediocre food. Won't waste my money there again. I thought it would be better in the new location.

Sit on the deck and get a nice view of the lake. Try the shrimp appetizer, very good. The fried catfish was excellent. Good place and good food.

We have a boat down at the marina and eat here almost every weekend. In my opinion the breakfast is very good. The eggs are always cooked to perfection and the homemade sausage is terrific. I have had the chef salad and it is average but good. The prices are great! If you want fancy food I guess you need... More

Very shabby and dark. Food was so so. Not worth a return trip. Too bad since its hard to see so many places closing.

We stopped by this place while vacationing in the area. Should have realized when they had a sandwich board in the driveway with a saying turn around fee $2.00 that we may be in trouble. How does one go wrong on breakfast? Its not rocket science is it???What a waste of time. The food left you wanting to run out as... More

We had pancakes that had the nastiest taste ever. Bacon was hard. The place was filthy and I'm being nice. The decor is so cheesy I was laughing out loud about it. The waitresses were all rude except one girl named Olivia. I saw the gross boy cooking my food...ew. The whole thing was awful. Ignore this place. There are... More

I do not even know where to start; the decor (tacky!) Service (how low can you go?) food (beyond bad) pricing ($$$ for cr**). We stopped there on our way to Houston from Dallas, ordered turkey and swiss grilled-$7.15 for overly butterd bread with one processed piece of turkey and cheese with a small bag of Lay's. What a deal!!!!... More

We came in for some dessert (Mrs Bush's Pie Shop was closed at that time) around 4 p.m. No one was in the restaurant except the owner who was very accommodating and genuinely nice. He assured us that the desserts (small selection on a counter) were homemade (by him!) We ordered a brownie, 2 cookies to go, and a large... More

One of the slowest and worst waitresses I have ever seen. The food isn't worth the wait either
