My review is quite simple; ate their one time, was not impressed. I guess the owner and his family all work there, they act like they are too good to wait tables. They took our order and disappeared. Never got a tea refill, when they dropped our food I asked for a couple of things and they forgot to bring... More

It's been closed and for sale for at least a year, maybe two. In fact someone may have bought it as the for sale sign is gone today. This place never had good food, it looked liked someones poor boy's attempt at a restaurant. The building was big with loads of potential, but tha's it.

Food was hot from heat not from spice. Hot sauce wasn't. Close to home so it wasn't a wasted trip. To get my future business they need to have more seasoned foods offered and real margaritas. Not those sissy wine-aritas they have . Gross. They say they are putting in a full bar with real Tequila. Maybe really great margaritas... More

I was raised on the left coast but have spent the last 17 years in Texas only thing I missed was homemade freshly fried taco shells stuffed with shredded beef...now I have found them at Pappa Gallo's no more greasy ground hamburger meat, their tacos are delicious you must also try the enchilada suizas omg! Oh did I forget to... More

This venue is a former "industrial warehouse" styled building that doesn't even masquerade as TexMex. Their food is average at best and service is unremarkable. The irony is that its elder sibling on Hwy 281 is a masterpiece of excellent food and quick service. It's waitstaff is pumped and eager to please and very prompt. Avoid the FM 306 location;... More

Thought I would giver Papa Gallo's a second chance. Well they disappointed me a second time. Service better this time but still the same old tasteless food. Chef Boyardee would sparkle next to this stuff. The beef tastes like it was boiled. My enchilada was drowned in some unidentifiable brown sauce. The taco would have been better if it came... More

On our first visit to the area we stopped here for lunch. We had passed by a few times but thought it was closed. Glad we stopped in the check because the food was delicious and service excellent. As we ate the place got busier so maybe other people saw us parked there & came in. Real good! I'd definitely... More
