Not much in the way of atmosphere, but our breakfast for 3 days exceeded our expectations. Great home cooking and friendly staff. Great value for the money.

If you love home cooking this is definitely the place to go! My daughter ordered a blueberry pancake and wanted 2 but our waiter told her, " 1 would probably make her happy" well he wasn't kidding! It was huge! And covered the whole dinner plate and thick. She loved it and no didn't finish it. Me I had the... More

Came here for a Sunday breakfast. You may have to wait a while for seats, but the food is worth it. Big portions, friendly staff. Pass on the buffet and just get one of the meals. Best of luck to anyone trying to finish their pancake side...

We were staying up in a time share and passed this establishment several times to find an empty parking lot. But Saturday, the day before we left we were at a monthly flea market with my friend's family and stopped here for lunch. The decor is gen-u-ine country diner/cafe, but the service and the food is Broadway. None of us... More

If you are a fan of big breakfast and home cooking, this is the place for you! Nothing fancy, but you won't leave hungry --or broke. Good prices, HUGE pancakes, good service, and, best of all, delicious! Tip: We arrived before 9:30 on a Sunday morning and had our choice of tables. By the time we left there was a... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful full breakfast before traveling to Austin. We each ordered a pancake along with our eggs entree. It was Hugh and filled the entire dinner plate, so much that I could not eat it all. Our server offered us a large to go cup of ice water which we gladly accepted as temps were... More

Decided to stop for a late lunch while staying in the area for a week. It was still quite busy yet. It's a small place, so there aren't a whole lot of tables, but we managed to find one in the corner. Our waitress was right there and took our drink orders. They offered a buffet that day, that consisted... More

Awesome breakfast. I ordered the peanut butter short stake pancakes and it was huge...A good 18" in diameter. I couldn't even eat a fifth of the plate. My husband ordered the Big Dam Breakfast and loved it too. Waitstaff was friendly and work hard. Food took longer than expected but well worth it for the large portions. This is a... More

Good food, friendly staff but very crowded. Go early or late if you want a table. Pancakes are fresh. Didn't do buffet but will next time.

First time for us at this restaurant. Big Dam Breakfast was a big breakfast and very good. Eggs cook exactly as ordered.Big crown just left as we pulled up to restaurant so we knew we were in for a treat.
