Great atmosphere

We have a restaurant on the Mountain ourselves named Dodge City Dinner Theater and I still love to try other places to eat. Savannah Winery & Bistro has good food, good service and you have to drink some of their wine.

We stopped in here for lunch while visiting Third Monday in Canton, TX recently and loved it. The food, service, and wine was wonderful and the owner a delight. We would highly recommend it.

Came in for dinner at 7:15pm on July 3rd, and they were out of the special. Their main dish! Restaurant was a little dirty too. While their staff was friendly, it was an overall disappointment. So sad since I had high expectations.

Did the wine tasting there. Ed, the owner was great. He asked you what kind of wine you liked & preceded to tell you that he would pick the wines for you & by the way, said he couldn't count. Not quite sure how many vines we tasted. He is also makes sculptures & explained how he was making one... More

When I grow up I want to be just Like ED the owner of the Savannah Winery in Canton, Texas. His stories were very entertaining, and his knowledge of the local wine was superb. The wine testing went on for about 2 hours and then we check out with 2 bottles of his house Port. “LPR”, you have to have... More

This 'winery' does not make any of their wine. It simply sells them from local wineries. If you are interested in wine tasting, GO TO A WINERY! The inside was very dated and the outside was a mess. The building and grounds look like they out of a New Orleans slum. Don't be fooled by their website picture. Our group... More

Great place to meet friends for a glass of wine and excellent food. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The owner is awesome and helpful with wine selection. My favorite establishment to visit in Canton!

The only place to get wine, so the wine is not cheap, service was good, nice atmosphere. I found a great bottle of wine, which after the shock of finding out that Canton is dry, I greatly needed.

This place is amazing. I love smaller places that make you really feel welcome and this place did. The owner is amazing and even helps you decide on which wine might fit you best. My sister and I stopped here on our way form Ft. Worth to Tyler and it is a deffinant must stop. We will make trips to... More

Eager to share the winery menu list with my cousin, new to Canton, I was asked to step out on the porch because I carried a beverage in a cup into the front foyer. I abided by her requests and asked my cousin to step outside with my cup. I stayed in the foyer to wait for the wine menu... More
