The smell alone is a dream... the food is icing on the cake!

Walk in & you are hooked from the glorious odors wafting about. But, that is only temptation. Sink your teeth into some of the most tender, flavor filled barbeque you've enjoyed in awhile. Supurb. But, as good as it is, Do NOT leave without your favorite flavor of fried pie just like grandma used... read more

This is the same bakers Ribs as I ate today. But I came to this particular one over a week ago. I saw their road sign and decided to try it out. I am glad that I did. Everything is made fresh, beans and potato salad are phenomenal, and the BBQ is the best in North Texas. But, I have... More

Fried pies are always terrific. Floors and tables are nasty. Food everywhere. Have never been here when food wasn't all over the floor.

We consider Baker's Ribs and Fried Pies our reward for getting through Dallas/Ft. Worth. It is right by the highway, and there is a billboard to remind you where to exit. This is our third visit; I had the turkey - enough turkey to feed a village for a week, or so it seemed. It was delicious. We finished off... More

Was surprised when walked in was cafeteria style. Ate on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils which is ok for picnic, but for $25 tab for two ( and that was drinking water!) I expected more. Sides were good & homemade but lukewarm, sausage was good, sliced brisket was dry & ribs weren't very meaty. Was very disappointing for Texas BBQ.... More

Maybe not the best BBQ, but defiantly good eating. I’ve eaten here several times and the brisket can taste a bit too smoky from time to time, not bad but occasionally you’ll get some beef with a little too much smoke. On the other hand, my wife thinks the turkey BBQ is absolutely some of the best she's ever had.... More

Food had really good flavor however my food was lukewarm and my husband's turkey and scalloped potatoes were cold. My favorite was the seasoning on their baked potato, finger licking good. Didn't have a fried pie.

I like the barbecue but it tends to be fattier than I like. Others may prefer this. Fried pies are very good but a little pricey.

I gave this place a 5 because its easy to get to and reasonably priced. I find it difficult to get off the Interstate just to hunt down some famous BBQ joint. With 2 meats, 2 sides and Texas toast for $11.95 it fills my desire for BBQ while traversing Texas. I had the ribs and sliced brisket and both... More

I've eaten at a good selection of BBQ restaurants to name the big ones like, Dickey's Red-Hot-and Blue, Spring Creek, Railhead, etc. I need to add this one to the list. The link plate for lunch with two sides was flavor-packed, good portion and resonably priced. Had I not been in a little small town, such as Canton,TX; I would... More
