The food was great. We decided to go all out and have a 4 course meal. It was fantastic and quite affordable. Andre even came to the table and greeted everyone and told me how he made the lentil soup. More

Somewhere between Houston and Austin, just off of 290 is the tiny town of Burton. In the town, is an amazing French restaurant, the Brazos Belle. It is curious that the word "tired" is used in connection with the Belle. Consistently high marks and compliments from thousands of guests over the years tell a different story. Andre's unique food and the charm of the restored buildings do seem to put most everyone in a happy - rather than tired - mood. Bon Appetit a Tous! More

Burton is an roughly half way between Houston and Austin. Driving back on Friday night I returned to the Brazos Belle for another delightful meal. Andre produces wonderful authentic french cuisine. I had a tasty cup of soup followed by beef. The flavours delightful. For $25 including tip, this is great food, friendly service at reasonable prices. More
