I really wanted this to be different. In their favor they are large (so seeing as they cost almost $4 a piece you feel like you got your money's worth) and filled with whatever fruit, cheese, or meat filling you choose ( apparently lemon is popular, I was there at 12:30 and they had sold out of lemon by 10:30... How to make my favorite dessert better? Why deep fry it. Hard to go wrong with that. Will stop every time we travel to Dallas to see the folks.

Great place to stop for fried pies- sweet and savory. We bought a bunch of different ones: apricot, peach, pineapple, sugar free peach, comfort (sausage, potato and cheese). Liked all of them, but loved the apricot and pineapple. Very fresh and will cook them for you if not in the display case (around 5 minutes to cook). No restrooms and... More

The best fried pies. TexMex is good. Didnt like spinach & mushroom. Coconut, cherry & vanilla are soooooo great. Buy a dozen its cheaper.

Tried the meat pies based on other good reviews. They were terrible. The pepperoni was particularly bad, forcing us to go to Sonic afterwards so that one member of our party could eat something for dinner. The Pulled Pork wasn't much better.

Stopped while passing through. Meat pies were hot and fresh. Dessert pies were good. Service was fine. A bit expensive, but was expected. It's not a place I'd visit often, but was a good splurge. They do not have their own restrooms in the shop. Beware using the gas stations...gross and smelly!

This small shop is always busy as they have tasty fried pies. They are not as good as grandma's fried pies but for purchased pies they are very good.

We stopped here on a recent roadtrip and were pleasantly surprised. We had a sausage, egg and cheese pie and a broccoli and chicken one, finishing off with a shared chocolate for dessert. All were delicious: hot, crispy and freshly prepared. YUM! Definitely will make a point of coming through Buffalo again soon. NOTE: Avoid the restrooms in the adjacent... More

This place has great pies. The cherry is my favorite of the fruit pies along with the brisket meat pie. They are a tad bit pricey but they do have frozen pies that are alot more reasonably priced. We bought quite a few frozen pies to bring back to Dallas. We will definetly stop here again on our way to Houston.
