Best BBQ in B/CS

I liked it better when they were in the little blue shack. Service was friendlier. But it's still better than all the "chain" BBQ places. They only cook so much then they close for the day. So there's no set times of hours even though posted.

Fargo's serves great Texas BBQ! My favorite meat is the ribs! They are super flavorful and tender. When you go you need to get there early because once they sell out, they close for the day! If you want your choice of meats and sides, get there around 11 am to beat the lunch rush!

There is no doubt they have earned their ongoing spot in the Texas monthly magazine top 10. We are from Texas and this is the real deal. When you order brisket order moist (fatty side) or lean. I like moist. It was full of flavor and so tender no knife is needed. The spareribs were falling of the bone tender... More

Good food. But....they got attitude, arrogant, not customer friendly, no courtesy. Makes me hate the food. I felt devalued....like i begged for the food. Honestly i am never going back there.

I am from Kansas City and love BBQ. We were on the way to the MU-Texas A&M game and stopped in to try the local fare. The brisket was good and the ribs were as well. The sauce was just OK, but sauce is more prominent in KC BBQ and really not the focus of Texas BBQ. The place was... More

A converted fast food restaurant, there's no decor, and on the day we went, no air. Everything is a la cart, so you can pay for only what you actually want. The brisket was good; next time we'll try other items. Sides were typical BBQ sides.

Fargo's is THE place to go for bbq ribs! They are the best in town. Their brisket and sausage are good, but the must have are the ribs.

They have great ribs. I like to get their chopped beef sandwiches. There are a few places to sit in their new location (which opened as a Popeyes Chicken in the 80's). They are closed sometimes if they have a big catering job.

Was in the area for Special Olympics competition and stopped for lunch on the way into town. Got there shortly after they opened. Was greeted and asked if we were familiar with the menu, which we were not. It was explained and there are many choices and options. Brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken, red beans, mac and cheese, green beans, potato... More
