We've been going to Fargos before they had the sit-down restaurant. This place is unbelievable. BBQ is absolutely the best we've ever had.

Fargo's does the best BBQ in the Brazos Valley. The Brisket is first rate; great smoky taste. the ribs are generally excellent although sometimes they could leave them in the smoker at bit and they are chewy rather than tender. They shut down when they run out of food and so a late lunch is usually not going to work.... More

The title says it all. Excellent BBQ in just a little, old building. The service was friendly, as they came around to ask us how it was. Would recommend !

Amazing ribs, awesome baked beans, succulent brisket and crazy good customer service. We were greeted nicely and encouraged to give dessert, greens and meats a try. Truly interested in creating a quality experience with quality food! This place made me happy!!

I've had Barbecue all over the State of Texas. I have sampled City Market in Lockhart, Black's and Kreuze's in Luling. These are in the top five in Texas. Rated with them is Fargo's. We stopped by today. The owner and entire family run the place. I spoke with him, and his wife. Nice people. We bought brisket and sausage... More

We decided to check this place out after our visit to George Bush's Library since it was reccomended by Texas Monthly. We had the chicken, bbq sandwich and the brisket. They were all very good and the brisket was so tender it nearly fell apart. The only thing that we didn't like was the lemonade. We thought it was too... More

Once you try the ribs and sauce here, you will not likely wish to return to the other local barbeque joints. They have daily specials in addition to the usual brisket, ribs, chicken and sausage. I recommend especially their grilled and fried pork shops which appear once per week. The sides are excellent as well. But beware, when they sell... More

We have in the last two months both dined in and carried out. The dining area is fine, but as is immediately obvious, most people who are there are planning on taking it away. It is clear that many people order ahead by phone and then collect a family or party meal. Because it does get so crowded on Saturdays... More

I went there several weeks ago. The place was crowded and the menu confusing. As i get to the counter to order I ask whats the process of ordering, I was pointed to a sign they have above. I politely said I had read but it still made no sense to me. All I wanted was brisket, ribs and sausage.... More

The menu was a little confusing - some of it apparently is only if you want extra (charge for bread and sauce) because those items are included. And everything is sold by weight, so there are no plates although one of the menus bundles meat by weight and sides by quantity - I guess it is really just a guideline... More
