Very cool restaurant in historic downtown area of Bryan. Shared the tortellini alla capra with my daughter along with a side Caesar salad. Very good sized portion with lots of mushrooms and just the right amount of creamy sauce. Even though we were sharing a lunch portion it was very filling along with the loaf of fresh crusty bread! Loved... More

My partner and I stumbled on to this place when walking through the Historic downtown area of Bryan, TX. The building is completely remodeled - an old grocery store. Beautiful high ceilings - the bar is huge and mostly unused. The food was really good - different from many italian restaurants that I'm used to with all those heavy pastas.... More

Caffe Capri is an intimate restaurant right in the heart of Downtown Bryan. The food is truly wonderful; I think I've had almost everything on the menu at this point, and I have yet to get something I don't like. The Tri-Color Bowtie and the Tortellini alla Capri are by far my favorites, though. The waitstaff is always wonderful and... More

This great establishment is in a beautiful, restored old building in Downtown Bryan. Fabulous Italian food is the fare, and the staff is awesome. Any of the pasta dishes (and I've tried them all) are outstanding, especially the cajun fettuccine. Be sure to save room for the great.chocolate toffee mousse with kahlua...wonderful way to end the evening, and over-stuff the... More

Be prepared to wait. The only negative thing about Cafe Capri is that it is a relatively small restaurant so it can be quite crowded. Be patient and your taste buds will be deliciously rewarded. If you can find anything that taste bad on the menu....what am I saying, there is not. Absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced. There is truly... More

I absolutely love this restaurant! My favorite is the Tortellini al la Capri and they will make it 'the original way' when I ask for it. It's a nice atmosphere, food is consistently delicious and we've been customers for over 5 years. I never mind waiting for a table when we arrive at busy times because I can have a... More

This little restaurant is a gem. The eggplant Parmesan was the best I've ever eaten. The balance of eggplant and cheese was perfect and they will customize most any dish to your liking. The wait staff is very attentive and courteous. The portions are generous and presentation is very nice. This now the only place we will eat when we... More

Caffe Capri is a small restaurant with a menu full of great dishes that are cooked perfectly. This type of restaurant is so hard to find and so easy to overlook when you're in a place like College Station where you're overwhelmed with corporate restaurant brands. It's tough for a restaurant to serve a pasta dish that is memorable, but... More

We made reservations for 7 P.M. and arrived at 6:45 P.M. After waiting 30 minutes, my 6 month pregnant wife and I noticed people without reservations were being seated before us, and had to complain. Once it was made aware to the hostess, she then seated three/four couples before us who still had no reservations. Once seated the waiter wanted... More

This was our favorite place to dine at one time, but we went there last night and the food was bland and the portions were smaller....three bites and the salad was gone. We love a locally owned restaurant, but things are not the same here. We spend a lot of time in Austin, so I guess we're spoiled to the... More
