Good and Hot Tex Mex on a Very Busy Valentines Night

There were six of us looking for dinner on Valentines evening ... with very few options available to us, we were able to get a 7:30 reservation at Los Cucos (thank you jasmin). They were understandably busy but did a pretty darned good job getting drinks, chips and salsa to us quickly. When we... read more

I have been here twice. The first time with a party of 7, I said I wouldnt return. I provided feedback to the manager regarding the terrible food and service. A year later, I returned. Nothing changed. The manager offered to comp our lunch. I refused. Left the premises. The outside appearance is nice. The service and food is not.... More

Had wonderful fish tacos. But unable to carry on conversation with dinner companion because it was so loud in the place. Not a place I would want to go often. There was a mariachi band moving among the tables and the horn player about blew out my ear.

This is a great place for good Mexican food at a good price. TVs for watching sports and pretty good service. Not too crowded and wide variety of choices.

First off, if you are hungover, get here as fast as possible. Second, if you just need some really good Tex-Mex, get here. After many years in College Station, this is my favorite Tex-Mex establishment. Get some of the fried tortillas that are served like chips (yes, there is a difference and these are not normal tortilla chips). Of course... More

We were down for Ring Day at A&M. After the ceremonies a large group of us went for a late lunch. We decided to drive to the Bryan location thinking it would be easier to get into. This was a mistake. We have ate at the College Station location several times and loved the food and service. Bryan was a... More

We had never gone to Los Cucos so we decided to try it. We were seated promptly. The waiter seemed to have an attitude though. He did not smile, he just took our order. If you like onions you will like this place, since everything had onions in it. When my husband requested no onions they said it came with... More

Their chips, salsa and guac were awesome as an appetizer! The "on the rocks" margaritas were just delicious! The food was fantastic! The only two drawbacks were out of a party of 10, one of our party's order did not come out with the others and we had to eat while she watched because she insisted. They made it up... More

Family owned and fantastic. Why wasn't this place here when I lived here? Today was my second visit. Came with a large group last time and did not find anything that was not exceptional. Tortilla soup has fresh veggies and was the best ever. You have to try the fried avocado. They must have some incredible chefs. This is NOT... More

More than your average Tex-Mex, this place has more choices than cheese enchiladas. I've never been disappointed. Prices are a little higher than the cheap tex-mex joints, but it's worth it for the quality - and the quantity. Love the margaritas on the patio too!
