This is a nice place to have some great wine either before or after dinner. The tapas are good, as well. The only thing I would change are the flimsy paper wine menus that had wine stains on them, and sometimes the service isn't what it needs to be (very hit or miss). It is nice to have a place... More

It is great to have this type of venue in town. I think the decor could be more sophisticated and the menu more extensive - not a lot but a few tapas - and then I would hang out more often. That being said we are short on grown up places in town.

Downtown Uncorked is a quiet place where you can enjoy a conversation and some quality wines. The selection is varied and especially good in terms of red wines by the bottle. Service is good and not obtrusive. This is pleasant place to spend time with friends and enjoy wine. They serve some food but I have never actually tried any... More

Any time you find a nice eclectic local joint to go to - do it. This is a gem. Great wine and music. I believe they have jazz every friday.

I've been here several times with a girlfriend just to chat and have a glass of wine with cheese and crackers - excellent wines, very quiet, big place and nice atmosphere - friendly people working there that talk to you and make you feel like you are at home.

There are a few wine bars around B/CS, but this rises above the rest in atmosphere and selection. The service is always friendly and the recommendations are almost always spot on.

Downtown Uncorked is great because it's so unassuming. In an historic downtown building, the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. They have an extensive wine and beer menu, and are reasonably priced. What's unexpected is the quality of the food. The menu isn't long, but the pizza is some of the best I've had, and I could eat the Italian nachos... More

We met with a huge group of people this past weekend. The staff was gracious enough to give us cash drink specials. But the space was so hot in spite of the cooling rain outside. But what should I expect in August in Texas?

What an atmosphere. Bring your spouse here for a quiet night out on the town. Appetizers, deserts only.

I really like wine, so I had high expectations. The selection of wines was not as large nor as varied as I would have liked, but this is a small town and doesn't have the market to support a large operation. The wines they did have were very good if a bit pricey. It is a nice classy quite place... More
