Great early evening dinner

Came here with a family of six plus an infant. They were busy but we were seated in about 10 min. Service was very friendly and everything came out exactly as ordered. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The chicken fried steak and grilled pork chops were a hit.

I have always heard to eat where the locals eat so that's what we do. We ate here for lunch and had the lunch ribeye and it was so good you didn't even need steak sauce! Hand cut melt in your mouth steak and tea from a mason jar, that's the way it should be done! Can't wait to go... More

Stopped here for supper with my wife. I wish I could review the food but after waiting forever to be seated in a pretty much empty establishment and then waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to take at least take a drink order, we walked out. My wife left a number for the mgr to call her and eventually... More

Hotel staff gave us the name of this place because we wanted to eat where the locals eat. I had hamburger steak and it was great loaded with grilled onions and mushrooms yummy! Hubby had steak and it was good as well. This one stays on my list.

We tried the Sododlak's Beefmasters Restaurant on Highway 21 in Bryan, TX last week. We had eaten at another location in Snook, TX a few years ago and weren't impressed at all. But, we decided to give this location a try after not eating there. I have rated it average, but I debated about giving it an average or poor,... More

You have to try the open flame rib eye. We were in College station TX for training for the week and we liked the steaks here enough for a second trip. It's not fancy by any means but it's good food and good prices. They even have a 48oz porterhouse if you're up to it.

This place was recommended to me while on a business trip for a class. Miriam was our waitress the 2nd time in 4 days I went, she did amazing and was very personable. As firefighters and paramedics we know how to eat, they served our food to order and kept our beers full and cold. Please please please give them... More

Nice and warm place for a get together with friends or family. I liked that they had lunch specials, menu is pretty big has a good variety too pick from.... The only thing, if you come with family or friends you have too come in together, they do have a sign that says they will not seat uncompleted parties. So... More

I don't think this place has an open flame grill, As other reviewers have posted. No grill marks, no char makes me think these steaks are cooked on a griddle. Very cheap meat, gristle, fat and very little taste. I wonder how so many people claim this place has “great" steaks? I really wish these reviewers would eat at a... More

The service is good and the sweet tea is wonderful! It doesn't take long to be seated or to get our food. They have good prices and the loaded mashed potatoes were amazing! It's a great place if you're swinging through BCS or if you're looking for something off the main strip. It's a local treat for sure!
