Good good and service. The portions were large and a good thing since we were hungry from not eating earlier in the day. Definitely recommended.

This sounded like a good idea and this restaurant was one of the only ones open the night went stayed in downtown Bryan. The beer was excellent and we were a large group so the big table was cool and reminiscent of old taverns. We had a good time and everyone seemed to enjoy their food but I have to... More

It has been a while since we ate there, but we liked what we ordered, the traditional German wienerschnitzel and sauerbraten with potato pancakes and red cabbage topped off with good ice-cold beer. It was delicious and we will return for more German cuisine.

Not a huge menu but what's on it is good and it's not a wallet-buster, either! Access to "historic downtown Bryan" kind of a plus too.....

The atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent, the wait staff was very friendly. But German food in Bryan Texas does not fare well. I tried the Boefflamott, which is the Friday and Saturday special, the word being tried - the beef was very tough and burned/black on half on the beef. The red cabbage was ok and the wine... More

Group of 50 was booked in for end of year event. Food was served buffet style. They ran out of plates, then ran out of food. We had to eat in shifts. No water or tea for that matter no wait staff except bar tender.

A very friendly and pleasant place. The German food may not be the very best I have had, but it was a welcome change and certainly tasty. We go here often when we visit the area.

Great local, Germany traditional food and drinks. Friendly staff. A traditional atmospherr which recreates and brings back happy memories of many a German restaurant where we ate when we lived there for several years. Will be going back whenver we get the chance.

I have been here twice - the first time the table wasn't cleared off and we waited quite awhile and when I told the waiter to take away the beer she said she thought it was mine and then said I could drink it if I wanted to! What?? The beef was very tough and couldn't hardly chew it both... More

Having lived in Germany several years, I occasionally need a German fix. The Brauhaus won't be confused with the real things, but the food is good basic German fare. The beer list is not extensive, but has several good German brews.
