I found this restaurant while searching for places to eat in the Bryan/College Station area and was originally attracted by a free drink coupon on their website and very reasonable prices. Then, I came across a Groupon offer and decided to try it out. That was the best decision we made!! we ate here on a Tuesday, so it was... More

Located on Texas Avenue in a strip mall in the middle of Bryan/College Station, this is a great alternative to the more well known tourist destinations. The food and service are excellent. It is fine dining without fine dining prices. To be a strip center joint, it has a nice quiet atmosphere suitable for special occasions, but not a gaggle... More

We have eaten here quite a few times. It has always been a nice place to celebrate special occasions, ie, birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines, etc. We have watched it evolve from a high priced restaurant (think Christopher's & Republic) to a more moderately priced establishment (such as Madden's, Cenare, & Lemon Wedge) The menu has changed since the last time we... This is our go to place. It's fine dining and reasonably priced. There are lots of options on the menu. I always get the Strawberry & Brie Salad. Of all the entrees we've had, we've never been disappointed. We always get the Tres Leches for dessert. The service is usually slow but the food is worth it.

My wife, mother and I ate dinner at LaRiviera last night and it was quite good, but not enough for me to give it 5 stars. The food was great and the waitress did a very good job. It took us 1 1/2hrs to eat our meal though. The place was about empty when we got there and about ¾... More

More formal dining experence in Bryan with tablecloths, cloth napkins, and waiters in uniform. The service was good, food including appetizers was fair, and we had to wait 20 minutes on our reservation. Customers were dressed in everything from shorts and tee shirts to jackets and dresses. Would not be real excited to make a return visit.

Rather than go to our usual Friday night haunt, we decided to go to La Riviera for dinner. It was a pleasing dining experience. My wife had a Caprese salad followed by the shrimp risotto, and I had a Caesar salad followed by the Lone Star steak. The food was prepared as requested and the service was attentive. This restaurant... More

I've been to La Riviera twice - once for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend and once for my 22nd birthday with my family and friends. It was a good choice for both occasions - small and larger groups. Both times I have made a reservation and have been seated immediately. It looks like it's not in the best part of... More

La Riviera has always been one of the restaurants on our family's local 'dining circuit'. Ambiance is relaxing; slow service hasn't been a problem.
