So glad we decided to try Steves'. The food was wonderful - worth a wait, as seating is limited. We will definitely be back when in the Brownwood area.

We were on our way from Austin to Amarillo and looking for something good to eat and break up our long drive. After looking thru Tripadvisor reviews, we decided this was the place. We were not disappointed! When we got there, it was full and we noticed a dry erase board, we put our name on it and relaxed. In... More

The food at Steve's is super fresh, and plentiful! I wouldn't hesitate to take the biggest food critic to Steve's. The atmosphere is fun, lots of quirky items to look at and the service has always been perfect. Prices are quite reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity of the food. We eat there at least once a week. I... More

At 11:00 sharp it happens .. The door to Steve's Deli opens & the little sign on sidewalk flips over to open.. Instantly car doors open and the early birds get the tables. You see spacious is not what Steve's is about.. It's about unbelievable quality of food. I had the special which was angus pastrami with German potatoe as... More

We decided on sandwiches from Steves for a small wedding reception. That was the easy part. When I tried to call to order they had a message saying that they were no longer accepting to go orders!!! My first thought was ohh crap...everyone had already decided on what they want and now I have to change plans! I tried a... More

Now look everyone, you have to arrive early for lunch, otherwise you will have to wait until someone leaves. The place is small, but sort of cozy and the food is very good. The owner is there and in charge and keeps very busy. I had an office on 6th Street in Austin, and this place reminds me some of... More

The two Steve's run a great little restaurant! The food is prepared very well by Steve the chef and served with a smile by the other Steve. They serve wonderful soups, salads, and sandwiches. The desserts are fabulous!

been eating at steves' for years. amazing food and hospitality. the owners do alot to support brownwood with their generosity. it is a two person operation, so you may have to wait once in awhile but it is well worth it. can't miss when you dine here.

After reading the reviews and hearing from my mom how good Steves' is, I decided to give it a try. After sitting in a dirty, dusty room that was easily the same temperature inside as it was outside, we were finally given a table. I ordered the Acai green tea because I am a green tea fanatic. This was pink... More
