The biggest challenge to eating out in this area is eating locally on Sunday and Mondays. You end up at the same places again and again and who really wants to have to drive an hour for a business lunch or Sunday dinner. I had a great lunch with an out of town associate here recently (usually that means someone... More

Sorry to see it closed. We did enjoy trying it out but they never seemed to get the whole package. Some of the food would be excellent and other just ok. It would have been the perfect place for live music. They seemed to be short staffed and not always knowledgable about finer dining. It had potential and sorry to... More

This place is correctly named "Ernie's All American Bistro" and is located near downtown. When the 38 members of my Corvette club visited for a 7:30 pm reservation, the streets were deserted (good parking) and no other customers were apparent. The food was very good, although not excellent. Our waitress was great and kept us entertained (I guess because she... More

We sat at the small bar and enjoyed ourselves. We shared the fish tacos. They were great!! They have wine and beer only but that was fine it hit the spot.

We tried to eat at this restaurant based on the reviews. We were greeted when we walked in and said they would clean a table for us. We went to the restroom and returned to the front, no one was there. Once we saw the table had been cleaned, the hostess returned but didn't say anything. I asked if that... More

This has become our place to stop for lunch between Houston and Austin. We get a friendly hello when we walk in. Food is good and well prepared. The bread is a food group all its own and is available to be bought as a loaf. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.

This was one of of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences ever! The food was fantastically good. My wife is allergic to garlic, so they prepared a garlic-free dish for her. The desserts were absolutely fantastic! Going back for Sunday brunch.

We went with a group and have been to this restaurant many times over the years. Our waitress was "off her meds" as she literally told us and was in a manic state. We were fairly horrified with most everything she said and how she behaved. She borrowed a pen from one of our friends because she didn't have one... More

OK. So I realize it is a busy time-- Texas I Bluebonnets and the Round Top Antique Festival. But 45 minutes to get our dinner? And the server did not bring our appetizer and when I asked he said "we are really busy and it must have been given to another table?????" Don't charge high prices and "pretend" to be... More

Loved our table by the window. Loved the mural on the wall. Very good menu, and the food was delicious. The server was very busy, but took good care of us. He recommended a "mystery" wine that we took a chance on and enjoyed very much!
