Looks like the 1950s. That's the first impression of the remarkable local find. No wonder it's so popular. They have a real soda jerk fountain. And they are loyal to Blue Bell cause in this time of trial they aren't serving ice cream. Waiting patiently for the good stuff, but don't let that stop you from going........it's all good.

Plenty of variety, and high quality food for the price. Nice salad bar with wholesome offerings. Also soups and salads.

This is a nice little café right in the middle of downtown Brenham. It kind of reminds me of a 50's diner with the old bar stools and fountain drink counter.

Good food in a fun atmosphere. The muffaletta are great, the tuna and chicken salad delis, the salad fresh and the food comes out quickly. Be sure to save some room for dessert. Never have had a bad meal here.

Stopped in for lunch but wanted something more than sandwiches. Came back for dessert before they closed (Open Sunday til 3:00 pm) and enjoyed the pies. The atmosphere is great. You feel like you have stepped back in time and walked into a old fashioned soda shop.

Well however you spell it they always seem to have it and it is always the absolute best......and don't tell me real men don't eat Kesh(?) we'll have to fight. Also try whatever soup is up, they are all good. The menu is huge, they even have PB&J and you have to stop in the ice-cream part but if you... More

Eaten here a number of times and always pleased. This last trip was with the seniors of my church. We had twenty people in our party. They were ready for us when we got there. Service was very good and quick. Everyone was pleased with what they ordered. Don't forget the pie though. Each bite of pie is like heaven!

I have eaten here several times. The food is always good but the price is always a shock. We ate there last week and enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and broccoli soup. They always have great flavored tea.

Between Austin & Houston we turned off into Brenham & found a great little town with some original mid 19th century buildings. Walked around to see where the locals eat & ended up in Must be Heaven. Despite the cheesy name some of the food was made there (heaven). Great sandwiches; we shared a Hoagie & a Reuben with unlimited... More
