The stuffed avocado was excellent. I would have liked a menu to study on instead of just the blackboards. So many options.... it was hard to decide what to order.

We have stopped here for lunch several time when we pass thru Brenham on our way to Austin. Or as a halfway point when we are trading off our Grandkids. The kids love their selections and the lunch noise. Us adults can always find a new sandwich to try. We always end our visit in the ice cream bar in... More

Aptly named shop! There are so many tasty choices on the menu that you will have a big problem deciding what to order. I have had the roast beef sandwich and the tuna sandwich with side salads and was completely satisfied. Servings are delicious and plentiful!! Be sure to save a little room for dessert or some of the Blue... More

Sweet little place that serves us some delicious sandwiches, soups and salads, but wait.......lets not forget the best part - desserts are too die for along with a Blue Bell Ice Cream Bar.

Walking in the door, the bakery fragrance and soda fountain with chrome stools took me right back to my small town Midwest childhood! Stopped here for lunch with about a dozen women after touring Washington on the Brazos. Everyone found something they wanted to order from the soup and sandwich menu, and of course most of us finished with a... More

Excellent sandwich choices, especially chicken salad. Unfortunately they close at 5 PM so not a dinner option. You could get it to go and take it back to the Ant Street Inn, where we stayed, and have it for dinner.

We have eaten lunch there perhaps 8 times. You go through a rapid line and walk away with your food. Always good. Simple fair well done. Rubin in Brenham, Texas? Yep, it was good. Orders can be big or small. They got what you might want but you are not required to buy a wheel barrel full of food!

You walk in, place your order at the bar, pickup your silver ware at the bar along with your drink a number and then find a table. We were there for lunch. So far it doesn't sound like much but wait till your food arrives, Sandwiches and pizza are what they do and they do it well. The Rueben was... More

Ate after church while visiting this city. The place was packed which we assumed meant good food. I had the Ruben-it was good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their lunch.
