They had great sandwiches, great location to hang out downtown and shop a bit and walk. My vegetarian sandwich was very good and we had a yummy dessert. It was like an old fashioned malt shop inside. Glad we went.

My friend and I went there for lunch. The place was pretty empty at 11:15am. Two glas behind the counter ignored us. Our food was mediocre--soup was not hot, chicken salad tasted off--tuna fishy. My friends food likewise mediocre--service too was not great. Ordering is at a counter and you have to stand and wait for food. Would not recommend... More

it is an old fashioned decorated place, you order@ the counter. so many decisions! I usually get the Rueben and depending how much a pig I am usually just a half sandwich is enough. The kids meals come in these cute little convertible paper cars. There is a pretty good salad bar and flavored iced teas. They also have an... More

OMG! First time for me. The Heavenly special (half sandwich, sm cup of soup, chips & a drink) is just about all a person could stand. Fresh bread with a homemade chicken salad - was awesome, accompanied by homemade portabella soup finished it off. But wait, must have desserts are on the menu too. Tried the bread pudding with bourbon... More

We had a delicious grilled cheese and pesto sandwich with marinara sauce for dipping. The lemon meringue pie was very tasty with a light flaky crust. The restaurant also serves Blue Bell ice cream which is incredible.

One of our go to places in Brenham. today hubby and I each tried a new sandwich, and shared them. I chose the grilled salmon with lettuce and tomatoes, he chose the new grilled cheese with pesto. Both were yummy. I was actually satisfied with half of my salmon sandwich, so next time, we'll probably just split a sandwich, and... More

The atmosphere was kitchy cute. We only had pie which was good grocery store quality not hometown bakery. Need to return and try the main menu which looked good.
