Great burger

The burgers are all great. I live the fried okra too. Shakes are thick. Prices are hard to beat. Just don't be in a hurry. They cook food fresh for your order and it will take time. Inside is a throwback to 1970s.

I'm not a huge burger fan, but wow! This place is great. If you are in Brenham, this is a DO NOT MISS. I love to go through the drive-thru and drive out to a scenic spot to just eat in peace. The sweet potato fries are spot-on. SO much better than Chili's.

If you want a made to order fresh burger, the Dairy Bar is the place to go. Paired with crinkle fries and a large soda, it's a great meal. Friendly service in the drive thru or dine in. the burgers are thick and juicy.

ALL the locals come here. When we first moved to Brenham, we were told by born-and-raised-here folks that Dairy Bar is THE place for hamburgers. And they're right!

If you're driving through Brenham and have a hankering for a shake or malt - be sure to stop at the Dairy Bar. Located in an unassuming building (probably a former Dairy Queen?) just off 290 on Stringer St, the Dairy Bar is frequented by locals...which says something as there are plenty of new fast food restaurants on 290 that... Yes it's a dive place but they serve really good food. We only can vouch for the burgers and chiliburger (with homemade chili)!! All was very good!! They also have a drive thru if u do t want to eat in.

The service was extremely slow. They ran out of onion rings; then they ran out of buns. Our chili cheeseburgers tasted like ground beef sandwiches with grease. The bread was so soggy it fell apart. Then, we decided to try the milkshakes, which were thin and runny. Then , they ran out of beef.

BEST Hamburger in town. Could use a bigger dining area. but food is the best! And waitresses are sweet.
